In an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Game Changer Wrestling owner and promoter Brett Lauderdale recently talked about GCW’s upcoming event at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and the possibility of more events there in the future.

“We also have a big show coming up on November 23rd at the American Dream. Which is, you know, it’s the Mall of America of the East Coast. It’s a big deal. It’s actually currently sold out. We’re working with them now to see if we can add some more seats or bring in some bleachers, to let us increase the capacity, but we’re already sold out. It’s going to be a big deal. There’s a Fan Fest in the afternoon. The show starts at 2 o’clock. Fan Fest goes from 11 to 2. The GCW show goes from 2 till whatever, 4:30 or 5 and then AEW is actually, the AEW pay-per-view is right down the road in Newark at 7. So it’s gonna be a fun afternoon of wrestling for people in North Jersey or for anybody coming to visit North Jersey. But this is the start of what I think is going to be a a very exciting relationship with the American Dream. There’s a lot of events coming to that area in the next year or so if you know, you may have seen an announcement about SummerSlam. And no spoilers, but yeah, maybe more stuff in the works.“

Earlier this year, WWE announced that MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey will host the first ever two night SummerSlam on Saturday August 2nd and Sunday August 3rd, 2025.

But before all that, GCW will present “Dream On” on Saturday November 23rd. Announced so far is Matt Cardona vs 1 Called Manders, Mike Bailey vs Sidney Akeem, Ricky Morton vs Little Guido, Los Desperados vs Gahbage Daddies, Kurt Angle, Mick Foley, Megan Bayne, Mance, Masha Slamovich, Effy, and more. The show will stream live on TrillerTV+.

American Dream is located less than a mile away from the site of SummerSlam 2025. It is the second largest mall in the United States behind the Mall of America.
