Sidney Akeem vs El Hijo Del Vikingo has been announced for Game Changer Wrestling’s “The People vs GCW” at Hammerstein Ballroom.

Following Sidney Akeem’s victory over “Speedball” Mike Bailey at today’s GCW “Dream On”, Akeem got on the microphone and asked for a big match for GCW’s return to the Hammerstein Ballroom. A graphic came on the screen for Akeem vs former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo. Vikingo last competed in GCW at “The Wrld On GCW” in Japan on October 12, 2023.

This is the first match announced for GCW’s big return to the Hammerstein Ballroom.

The People vs GCW will take place on Sunday January 19, 2025 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
