Three matches have been announced for Game Changer Wrestling’s return to the Hammerstein Ballroom in January.
There are now three matches made official following yesterday’s GCW “Dream On” event from the American Dream mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
First, following his victory over “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Sidney Akeem asked for a challenge for “The People vs GCW”, and he got it. Sidney Akeem vs El Hijo Del Vikingo is the first match officially announced for the January 19 event.

Later in the show, the team of Alec Price and Cole Radrick challenged the GCW World Tag Team Champions Violence Is Forever to a match at the big event. Dominic Garrini and Kevin Ku accepted the challenge.

In the final of the three announcements, four participants were revealed for a DLC (Doors, Ladders and Chairs) Match for the vacant GCW Ultraviolent Championship. It will be “The Bulldozer” Matt Tremont, Brandon Kirk, Drew Parker and John Wayne Murdoch, with two mystery participants that have yet to be revealed.
The GCW Ultraviolent Championship was vacated earlier this month when Sawyer Wreck defeated former champion Brandon Kirk in the finals of the NGI9, to win the championship and the tournament. She then revealed that she would vacate the title due to her plans to retire.

The People vs GCW will take place on Sunday January 19, 2025 live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The show will stream live on TrillerTV+. Tickets are still available.
