El Hijo Del Vikingo vs Kid Lykos II was stopped early due to an unfortunate injury to Vikingo.
In the opening match of PROGRESS Wrestling’s mystery event Unboxing VII, Vikingo made his long awaited debut against Kid Lykos II. The match was in the final stretch when Lykos hit Vikingo with a slingshot code red. The match was immediately stopped due to Vikingo hurting his knee on the move.
PROGRESS Wrestling tweeted, “He will get checked over by our medical team, and we hope for a speedy recovery, and a return to a PROGRESS ring in the future.”
An unfortunate PROGRESS Wrestling and United Kingdom debut for Vikingo who was originally scheduled to face off with Cara Noir at Vendetta 2 earlier this year in November, but was called off due to injuries.
