Women to Watch in 2025 – Part 2

In Part 1, we saw women’s wrestlers that have come from WOW, ones that have been rising the ranks in OVW, a quirky girl from The World Famous Monster Factory, and a woman that is not afraid to mix it up in hardcore matches with the men. In Part 2, we will have a daughter of a god, a woman with multiple personalities, a hippy, a diva that shoots dollar bills, and much more!

Sammi Chaos

Sammi Chaos is one of the strongest women on this list. She’s someone that keeps evolving since coming out of the Fallout Shelter with trainer Masha Slamovich. In her two and a half year career, Sammi has caused havoc all over the northeast and beyond.

Sammi has held the Paradise Alley Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship and the Pennsylvania Premier Wrestling Women’s Championship. She has also formed a very intimidating tag team, Survival of the Thickest, with Kaitlyn Marie, who won a 3-way match at Ladies Night Out 14 at Wrestlecon Weekend. Sammi will step in the ring with anyone, no matter gender, size or ability and will typically come out on top.

Sammi has been in the ring with some of the biggest and the best including Delmi Exo, Kristian Ross, Tyree Taylor, Matt Tremont, Christina Marie, Rebecca Scott, Zayda Steel and more. She also recently accompanied her trainer, Masha Slamovich to the ring for her Bloodsport fight. With Sammi’s size and athletic ability, she could easily be the next Vader and Bam Bam of a company’s women’s division.

Brianna Bandz

Brianna is someone that catches your attention as soon as she comes out to the ring. She has lively, flashy gear, light up shoes, and a money gun that shoots money into the crowd. Once she gets everyone’s attention she will turn it up in the ring.

Brianna is extremely exciting and fast paced in the ring, but will always take the time to tell you how good she is doing. Brianna was trained at T2T by Logan Black, so her career started wrestling at the T2T shows in Brooklyn and at the T2T Pittsburgh shows (880 Wrestling). One of Brianna’s biggest and most impressive matches at 880 was an incredible match between herself and Paris Sahara.

Brianna has recently been making quite an impact at CAP also, having defeated Gabby Forza, Nat Castle and Sazzy Boatright in a Center Stage Classic Cup Four Way. I would look for Brianna to debut at many more promotions in 2025 and once she is there, it will be hard to keep her away, as the fans will keep clamoring for her to come back.

Miss Larkan

The Lovely Miss Larken is one of the most interesting young wrestlers. She started training at the Grindhouse Pro Wrestling after moving back to the Midwest. After only wrestling for a little over a year, Larkan has garnered a lot of attention for her antics in the ring and her incredible promos outside of the ring.

Larken is constantly posting videos and promos online that seem innocent and fun at first, then get very dark. She does an incredible job of mixing her art with her wrestling. Inside the ring she has faced a who’s who of Midwest wrestlers in the past year, including Marti Belle, Haley J, Arie Alexander, Rachel Armstrong, and Tootie Lynn. She also made it to the finals of the MEGA Baddies tournament and was one of the highlights of the 2025 OVW Nightmare Rumble. Look for a lot more of Larken screaming, talking to herself and using her imaginary knife in 2025.

Regan Lydale

Regan is known as the Big Boss Hippie, as she is rather imposing in the ring, but also has a smile on her face most of the time. Her positive attitude makes her a favorite with the fans, but don’t let that fool you as this 6 foot hippie can hit as hard as just about anyone. She has become known for her lethal chops.

Regan has already faced some top names in the Midwest and beyond, including Heather Reckless, Missa Kate, Sandra Moon, Trevor Outlaw and one of her trainers at the Freelance Academy, GPA. She has competed at Black Label Pro, Freelance, Hybrid School of Wrestling (TX) and also won a championship at Honor Among Wrestling. Look out for the hippie to soar to bigger heights in 2025, as she already has some big matches lined up.

Stxrm Garcon

Stxrm is someone that will grab your attention as soon as you see her wrestle. The first time that I saw her was in MEGA’s Baddies tournament and for someone who had only been wrestling for about a year, she had the confidence and skill of a veteran. I then got to see Stxrm in a show stealing match against Eden Monroe at Cincinnati Pride.

In less then 2 years in the business Stxrm has held multiple titles, including the AIWF Central States, XCW Women’s title, PRW Ladies Champion, and Journey Independent Championship Wrestling Women’s Champion. Stxrm also battled Sebastion LeShawn for the MEGA Baddies title multiple times. I would look for Stxrm to keep collecting more championships in 2025 in the Midwest and beyond.

Nina

This French-Filipina baddie was named breakout star of the year at Millenium Pro Wrestling. Simply known as Nina, she started her career in the Philippines before relocating to Los Angeles. Since then she has faced opponents like Gin Sevani, Sage Sin, Ray Rosas, and recently had an incredible match with Tiffany Nieves.

Nina may be small in stature and have a smile on her face, but she is not to be taken lightly. She is incredibly quick, athletic, and very tough. She has opened a lot of eyes on the west coast in 2024 and looks to keep that momentum going in 2025.

Lili Ruiz

If there is one word that I can use to describe Lili, it would be crafty. She may not be the biggest or the strongest in the match, but more often than not she finds a way to win. La Pescadita is always a fan favorite, as she brings a certain kind of energy to the ring that few others have.

In Lili’s two years of wrestling she has already had some big matches; she defeated Su Yung for the Honor Among Wrestling Reinas Championship, competed against Kenzie Page for the NWA World Women’s Title and competed against two of the top stars of the NWA, Tiffany Nieves and Natalia Markova in a triple threat match. It looks like we will be seeing Lili in a lot more big matches and probably a lot more appearances in NWA in 2025.

Arie Alexander

Arie is the person that I could most see in a major company in 2025. Her matches are consistently good and she always makes her opponents look like superstars. Arie has been wrestling since 2023, and keeps getting better every time I see her.

This past year Arie has wrestled stars like Freya the Slaya, Rachel Armstrong, Angelica Risk, Steph De Lander, John Wayne Murdoch, and more. She also challenged for titles at Premier, NEOPro, and OVW, and held championships at New South, WTF and NEW.

Aire is one of the strongest female wrestlers on the indies right now, so look for her to be flexing those muscles on your tv or at your favorite indie in 2025.

Ashlyn Alexander

Ashlyn is a powerhouse that really made a name for herself in the Midwest and beyond. The Power Rough Girl collected championships in Third Coast Wrestling, Destination 6, Generation Next Pro Wrestling and won the HCW “Ascending the Queendom” Tournament.

Ashlyn has the power advantage against most of her opponents, but can also surprise her opponents with her speed and athleticism. Ashlyn stepped in the ring with stars like Tootie Lynn, Jameson Shook, Rebecca J Scott, international stars Shazza McKenzie and Charli Evans, and ROH star Billie Starkz. Ashlyn may not have won all of those matches, but you have to think that she learned a lot from them and will be even better in 2025.

Sigrid, Daughter of Tyr

Sigrid has made a steady rise to the top of the independent wrestling scene in the southeast in the two years that she has been wrestling. Sigrid ranked number 171 on Outsport’s QWI rankings, who mentioned that she made history by having the first all-trans title match in Tennessee, when she challenged Eden Monroe for the Gig City Championship.

Sigrid, who comes to the ring with an animal skull and antlers is not intimidated by anyone. She has taken on the best that TWE has to offer, including answering an open challenge from Hunter Drake, taking on Ella Envy and challenging Conversion Therapy with her tag partner, Will Street for the TWE Tag Titles.

Sigrid also made her way to Cincinnati Pride, where she opened the show with and incredible no DQ brawl against GG Jacobs. However, Sigrid’s biggest match was probably her debut at Effy’s Big Gay Brunch 8 where she was in a scramble with Saraya Saber, Josh Locke, Kaitlyn Marie, Rob Bass Jr. and Khan O’Kelly. I would look for Sigrid’s climb to the top of the southeast indies to continue in 2025 and for her to appear in more promotions all over the country.
