Allie Katch suffered an ankle injury during her match against Effy at “The People vs GCW”.
In a match against her former BUSSY tag team partner Effy to determine who faces GCW World Champion Mance Warner later in the evening, Allie Katch attempted a suicide dive to the outside. Katch landed awkwardly on her left leg and had to be tended to medical staff.
Mance Warner then came out and attacked Effy, hitting him with the GCW World Championship and putting him through a table. The match was stopped and Effy was declared the winner. Effy will now face Warner with the championship on the line.
Effy took to Twitter and stated it’s not how he wanted to win the match. “real bummer yall not the way i wanted to earn this hope @AllieKATCH is ok despite the history sometimes things change and you gotta go with the flow and i feel like it isn’t earned but i’ll do it for us both.”
