ATTACK! Pro Wrestling has announced the Nixon Newell will be facing Dani Luna at their “C’est La Vie” event on Sunday May 18. This will be the first match Nixon Newell, the former Tegan Nox in WWE, has announced since leaving WWE.
Nixon was probably best known for her time in NXT and her feud with former friend Dakota Kai. Most recently, Nixon was seen on Monday Night Raw, where she challenged for the Women’s Tag Team Championship with partner Natalya. Before going to WWE, Nixon competed in some of the top women’s promotions around the world, like Stardom in Japan, Shimmer in the US, and EVE in England. The Wales native has had some success at ATTACK! in the past, capturing their 24-7 title on three separate occasions and capturing the tag titles with Mark Andrews.
Nixon’s opponent, Dani Luna, is someone who has been at or near the top of the TNA Women’s division for quite a while now. Dani is currently on her second reign as TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion, with Jody Threat as her partner. The London native has also impressed in singles competition, holding the RevPro British Women’s championship in 2024 and defending it against stars of the British wrestling scene, like Safire, Rhio, Nina Samuels, and Alex Windsor.
This could be one of the biggest matches in ATTACK! history, pitting a long time WWE superstar against a TNA champion, both in their prime.
The event will take place at the St Cyres School in Penarth, South Wales. Tickets are on sale now.
