Meiko Satomura Thanks PROGRESS Wrestling Following Match Against Rhio

On Sunday, February 23rd, Japanese legend Meiko Satomura wrestled her final singles match in the UK against Rhio at PROGRESS Wrestling’s Chapter 177. Satomura came out the winner in the contest that took place at The Electric Ballroom in London, England.

Satomura took to Twitter to thank PROGRESS Wrestling and to state that it was an honor to wrestle Rhio.

Thank you so much, @ThisIs_Progress fans!! It’s been 6 years since I first joined Progress and I’ve had a great experience in the UK. I was so happy to have everyone celebrating me at the end. It was an honor to have a Match to Rhio!!!

The near 30 year veteran made her PROGRESS Wrestling debut back in 2019, where she defeated Jordynne Grace to become the PROGRESS Women’s Champion. She would go on to face Dani Luna, Nicole Savoy and Jinny. Satomura is set to retire in Japan this April.

PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 177 can be streamed at anytime with a TrillerTV+ subscription.
