This Saturday, Sabu will be in Los Angeles to receive his Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame award from Joey Janela.
Janela will be presenting Sabu with the plaque that he was scheduled to receive at GCW’s Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame on April 7, 2024. Sabu was scheduled for the event but no-showed. On the day of, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale tweeted that Sabu was in the building and just didn’t want to get in the elevator to attend the event. A few days later Sabu simply tweeted, “i changed my mind.”
Janela was scheduled to take on Sabu at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9, but it seems to be off the table for the time being as Joey just had to undergo surgery for a ruptured bicep. Janela stated, “I will be there in LA to give sabu the plaque I would’ve gave him at Spring Break! 🙏🏻😌”
Game Changer Wrestling’s “The Coldest Winter 3” will take place this Saturday March 1st at the Ukranian Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California. The show is scheduled to stream live on TrillerTV+. Tickets are still available.
