Joey Janela has announced that his match at Spring Break against Sabu will be a No Ropes Barbed Wire Match.

At today’s Game Changer Wrestling event in Philadelphia, Joey Janela made his way to the ring with a piece of barbed wire in his hand. He cut a promo saying that no matter what condition he’s in, he’s going to give the performance of his career. He wants the ropes taken down and barbed wire put up.

Janela has been teasing the stipulation since Sabu attacked him in Los Angeles on March 1st. After the attack Janela tweeted, “Take those FUCKING ROPES DOWN… ITS ON SABU…See you at Spring Break…” He followed up by tweeting pictures of himself from a previous no rope barbed wire match in Beyond Wrestling.

The match will take place at this year’s Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9 on Friday April 18th. The event will be held at the Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada during WrestleMania week. It’s scheduled to stream live on TrillerTV+.
