Last night at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9, Atticus Cogar and Fuego Del Sol went to war in a GCW Career vs Mask match. If Atticus lost, his Game Changer Wrestling Career would be over. If Fuego lost, he would have to unmask.
After a near 18 contest which saw Atticus’ brother Otis Cogar, and Fuego’s tag team partner Sam Stackhouse involved, Atticus Cogar picked up the victory after an avalanche Last Nail into a trash can. Per stipulation, Fuego Del Sol had to unmask. He asked his tag partner for help unlacing the mask, before revealing his face. He handed over his mask to Atticus, but it didn’t end there.
Fuego then took off his boots and left them in the middle of the ring, a symbol for his wrestling career coming to an end.
Fuego then took to Twitter, stating that he is stepping away from wrestling.

I’ve been selfish and doing this for me. Now it’s time to focus on my family and feeding them.I left everything I had left in the ring…including my boots.
