Fuego Del Sol has returned to GCW, or so we thought.
Last night at GCW’s big show, “Crazy Scary Spooky Hilarious,” Atticus Cogar went one-on-one with Sam Stackhouse. The match marked the return of Fuego Del Sol who many thought was going to help his best friend, Stackhouse. However, we saw a new side of Fuego Del Sol, as he turned around and used a taser on Stackhouse, allowing Cogar to win the match.
Following the match, Fuego continued the heinous attack on Stackhouse, hitting him over the head with a steel chair and stomping a chair into the back of his head. According to GCW’s commentary team, this caused Stackhouse to be taken to a “local medical facility.”
Fuego is coming off a Career vs. Mask match with Atticus at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9, which Fuego lost. This forced him to unmask, but what many people didn’t realize was what was to come. Fuego indicated his career was over, but now it seems that the only thing that ended was that chapter of his career.
Fuego posted a cryptic video on Twitter where he said, “Fuego Del Sol is DEAD!” and perhaps even more interesting, “My name is KJ Orso, and I’ve never felt more ALIVE!”
It seems as though the Fuego Del Sol character has been put to rest, and he will now be going by KJ Orso going forward, as an unmasked wrestler.
