Indi Hartwell Wins House Of Glory Women’s Championship at Waging War

On Friday, April 9th, House of Glory returned to the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, IL for it’s event, “Waging War.” One of the big matches of the night saw Indi Hartwell square off with Miyu Yamashita, but with some unexpected gold on the line.

Before the match, the commissioner of House of Glory, Jason Solomon, made an earth-shattering announcement. Megan Bayne, who has been the HOG Women’s Champion for 287 days, and one of the most dominant champions that House Of Glory has ever had, is now unable to defend the HOG Women’s Championship. This news comes after her official signing with All Elite Wrestling, seeing her scale back on her indie dates.

Commissioner Solomon made the decision to put the vacant HOG Women’s Championship on the line in the match between Indi Hartwell and Miyu Yamashita. Hartwell and Yamashita gave everything they had to become the next HOG Women’s Champion. However, in the end, Hartwell hit her full-nelson face buster on Yamashita to pin her for the three-count to become the new HOG Women’s Champion.

Indi’s winning this title marks her second title win since returning to the independent wrestling scene after being released from the WWE. Hartwell is now at the top of the mountain in the House of Glory women’s division, and the future is very bright for both House of Glory and Hartwell.
