On Saturday, May 17th, Limitless Wrestling returned to Westbrook, ME for it’s big event, “WARZONE.” The event streamed later on the Limitless Wrestling YouTube channel.
The main event of the show saw Channing Thomas, Anthony Greene, Aiden Aggro, & J-Heru square off with Ace Romero, Gabby Forza, Aaron Rourke, and Dezmond Cole in a WARZONE match.
International Four-Way: Eli Knight def. The Tuckman, LJ Cleary, & Scott Green
The opening match of the show saw a four-way match of international flair. The United States of America’s Eli Knight faced off with Ireland’s LJ Cleary and Australia’s The Tuckman and Scott Green. This was a big match for all involved, but especially for both Cleary and Knight who are based out of America as the Vacationland Cup season approaches.
This was an excellent match by all four men involved. They all left it out in the ring, but there was only going to be one winner. Ultimately, Knight pinned The Tuckman after hitting a beautiful moonsault on him from the top. This was truly an excellent opening match, which set the tone for the entire night.
Following the match, Knight spoke with Sam Laterna about his goals for the year. He says one of his goals is to be a champion here, and that he has the Vacationland Cup on his mind. As for The Dropouts (The Tuckman & Scott Green), they said they hope to come back to Limitless Wrestling to dominate the tag team division. This would be a very welcomed sight to see as both The Dropouts were a lot of fun to watch.
Bear Bronson def. Dirty Dango
Jose Zamora makes his way down to the ring and cuts a promo saying that he is going to record a video, and he needs complete silence. Dirty Dango comes out and hits him with a piledriver, and looks for a competitor to fight. Bear Bronson makes his way down to the ring, and he and Dango waste little time going at it. The two brawl in the crowd and the fans absolutely love it.
Dango pays homage to Sabu with a chair-assisted high-risk maneuver over the top. The two continued to go at it and had a very hard-hitting match. Ultimately, Bronson dropped Dango onto a steel chair with a thunder driver to pin him and win the match. After the match, Limitless Wrestling caught up with a very changed and focused Bronson.
Bronson says that he is a guy that the “powers that be” locked in a box for too long. He says it’s time for him to do things the way that he wants to do it. He says he’s looking ahead to the Vacationland Cup and the Limitless Wrestling World Championship. Bronson is on fire right now and he’s someone who should be getting opportunities all over. Truly one of the best and most hard-hitting wrestlers around today.
Davienne def. Little Mean Kathleen
The next match of the show saw the returning Davienne go one-on-one with another returning northeast star, Little Mean Kathleen. This was a match which featured two of my personal favorite women on the entire independent wrestling scene today, and it truly lived up to the hype and then some.
Davienne wasted little time, aggressively attacking Kathleen as soon as the bell rang. Kathleen tried to fight back, but the power of Davienne caused Kathleen to be taken out with an electric chair. Davienne wrestled angrily and aggressively, which was a sight to see, as she has shown she’s no longer the same Davienne who was all smiles a mere couple of years ago. Ultimately, a Boston Crab from Davienne causes Kathleen to tap out.
This was a statement win for Davienne who immediately called out Gabby Forza. Both Davienne and Kathleen looked great in this match. Hopefully we’ll see Kathleen back soon. As for Davienne, she’s back and better than ever before.
Vacationland Cup Qualifier: Conan Lycan def. Hazard
Up next, we saw Conan Lycan face off with Hazard in a Vacationland Cup Qualifying match. Hazard has been on a good run lately and has shown he has what it takes to stand up against in Limitless Wrestling, despite still being one of the most hated guys there. As for Conan Lycan, Lycan is an absolute killer. Lycan has been putting on some of the best matches in Limitless Wrestling recently with some of the best the promotion has to offer.
This was a chance for Lycan to get to his first-ever Vacationland Cup, and he wasn’t going to let it pass easily. Lycan can do things many other big men can’t, including a really cool kickflip moonsault that he landed on Hazard. Hazard did an excellent job against a much bigger opponent in Lycan, but Lycan had Hazard’s number. Ultimately, Lycan spikes Hazard on his head to win the match and qualify for the Vacationland Cup.
This was an excellent match with a good showing by both men. Lycan deserves to be pushed to the moon, wherever he is. He has all the tools to be the top star of any promotion. Lycan says he has his eyes on VLC, and he may have something “shiny and bright” in his future. Hazard wasn’t happy at all about the result.
The Garlands (Keagan Garland & Scotty 2 Hotty) def. Swipe Right (Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)
As the action rolls along, next up we see The Garlands, Keagan Garland and his father, Scotty 2 Hotty, square off with the WWE ID prospects, Swipe Right’s Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes. The fans were firmly behind Scotty 2 Hotty and his son, Keagan, in this very fun tag team match. This was the debut of The Garlands wrestling together in Maine, despite living in Westbrook, ME.
Swipe Right continued to look fantastic, as they continue to prove that despite not having the fans in their corner, it doesn’t matter to them. As for The Garland’s it was so cool getting to see Scotty 2 Hotty team up with his son in their hometown, in 2025. The match itself was a fun tag team match. Swipe Right did what they could to separate both members of The Garland from each other.
Ultimately, the match ended when Keagan Garland hit the WORM on Smokes to pin him for the three-count. The crowd ate this match up, and it looked like Scotty 2 Hotty didn’t miss a beat. This was the feel-good moment of the night. I think I speak for everyone when I say, Garlands, please come back to Limitless Wrestling.
WARZONE Match: Ace Romero, Gabby Forza, Aaron Rourke, & Dezmond Cole def. Channing Thomas, Anthony Greene, Aiden Aggro, & J-Heru
The main event of the show saw the Warzone match between the Limitless Wrestling World Champion Channing Thomas, Aiden Aggro, J-Heru, and Anthony Greene and Ace Romero, Gabby Forza, Aaron Rourke, and a mystery partner. This match was going to be the polar opposite from the match before it, as there was no love lost here between either of these two teams, and it certainly wasn’t going to be a feel-good moment. The Bakabella family had a special entrance as they entered in a truck from the side.
Aaron Rourke and Anthony Greene each started the match. Over time, other competitors entered until it was down to the mystery tag team partner. So, who was going to be the fourth and final member going up against Channing Thomas and his group? Look no further than the returning Dezmond Cole. The look on Cole’s face in the entranceway said it all, Boofa is back! Cole got right in the face of Thomas and the two teams went at it to officially kick off Warzone.
As soon as the match started, we saw spot after spot. This included Aaron Rourke hitting an incredible Spanish Fly on Aggro from the top rope while holding onto the cage, and Dezmond Cole hitting a Swanton Bomb from the top of the cage onto everyone who was outside of the ring because Bakabella opened the door. Ultimately, after Cole hit a Swanton Bomb on Greene, he pinned him to win the match.
This was truly a warzone between the good guys of Limitless Wrestling and the Sidney Bakabella family. With Cole now officially back, is he after the Limitless Wrestling World Championship, which he dropped to Thomas before his injury? With the Vacationland Cup right around the corner, things are truly heating up in Limitless Wrestling. Truly another can’t-miss show.
