On Friday, May 23rd, Chaotic Wrestling returned to East Boston, MA for it’s event, “Boston Brawl 4.” The event streamed live on the Chaotic Wrestling Twitch and YouTube channel.
The main event of the show saw Mortar put his Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship on the line against Brad Cashew.
We also saw Kalvin Dumont put the Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Championship on the line against Armani Kayos, The Unit’s JT Dunn & Trigga The OG put the Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships on the line in a three-way match, a seven-team tag team gauntlet match, Ricky Smokes go one-on-one with Jack Cartwheel in a WWE ID official match, and so much more. Check out the full results below.

WWE ID Official match: Ricky Smokes def. Jack Cartwheel
The opening match of the night saw a WWE ID official match between Jack Cartwheel and Chaotic Wrestling’s own, Ricky Smokes. This was one of the more anticipated matches of the night, and fans knew exactly how good this match was going to be heading into it. The fans were firmly behind Cartwheel heading into his first-ever match at Chaotic. Despite having quite a few run-ins on Evolve, this was actually the first match between Smokes and Cartwheel in a one-on-one setting. Cartwheel used a lot of his innovative offense to take the fight to Smokes early on, but Smokes was able to put a stop to it with a bow-and-arrow spear into Cartwheel for just a two-count. However, he was able to turn the match in his favor with it.
Cartwheel was able to use his fantastic agility to get back into the match, and even at one point looked like he had the match won. However, after going high-risk, Smokes countered by getting his knees up. This led to a double-stomp by Smokes for the three-count. After the match, Smokes says Baylor will be at the next show on June 12th, and maybe they will be challenging for the Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships. This was a tremendous opening match and one that set the tone for the rest of the night. Smokes and Cartwheel are two of the best around today, and this was an absolute banger of a match.

Tag Team Gauntlet: The Jam Jams (Jamari & Jamal) def. The Monarchy (Ariel & BMT), Paris Van Dale & Jay Tunis, Catch & Release (Seabass Finn & Sean Keegan), The B3 Boys (Ban Ban & Bear Bear), Spike Nishimura & Liviyah, God’s Greatest Creations (Manus & Sister Selena)
Up next, we see a seven-team Tag Team Gauntlet, which starts with GGC’s Manus & Sister Selena and Spike Nishimura & Liviyah. GGC blindsides Spike & Liviyah to try and gain the upper hand early on. Ultimately, Spike & Liviyah get the win when Spike hits a big kick to the head of Manus. Next up, we see The B3 Boys, Ban Ban & Bear Bear, enter the fray. Despite a valiant effort, Spike & Liviyah fell to the B3 Boys. Next up, we saw Catch & Release. Thanks to miscommunication, the B3 Boys got past Catch & Release with a roll up. Next team to enter was Paris Van Dale & Jay Tunis.
Paris Van Dale was killing it in the ring, but Tunis made the blind tag to stop her momentum. Paris walks out on Tunis, leading to the B3 Boys getting past their third team. The sixth team in this match is The Jam Jams. The Jam Jams defeated the B3 Boys with a double-team code breaker move to make it to the final match. The Monarchy was the final team in the gauntlet and are looking to get back on track. The Jam Jams won the match with a roll up on BMT to win the match. This was a fun debut for the Jam Jams and I’m looking forward to seeing what else they can do in Chaotic Wrestling.

Brad Hollister def. Tony Navarro
Next up on the show, we were back to singles action as we saw Brad Hollister go one-on-one with Tony Navarro. The fans were firmly behind Navarro in this one, but he had a tall task in front of him in the veteran, Hollister. After some jawing back-and-forth to the crowd between the two men, Navarro was the favorite going into the match. When the action finally started, Navarro quickly got the upper hand, forcing Hollister out of the ring to regroup. When he gets back in the ring, a German suplex from Hollister onto Navarro changes the tides of the match in Hollister’s favor.
Ultimately, despite a valiant effort by Navarro, Hollister picks up the win when he hits his finishing move on Navarro for the three-count. This was a fun match and was a breath of fresh air from the craziness of the tag team gauntlet before it. Hollister looks incredible since he made his return to Chaotic Wrestling, and Navarro continues to remain one of the most over talents on the entire roster around today.

Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships: The Unit (JT Dunn & Trigga The OG) (c) def. God’s Greatest Creations (Jariel Rivera & Milo Mirra) and DJ Powers & Jose Zamora
Next up we see our first championship match of the night as The Unit’s JT Dunn & Trigga The OG put their Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships on the line against God’s Greatest Creations’ Jariel Rivera & Milo Mirra, and DJ Powers & Jose Zamora. The Unit had a tall task here as they only had a 33% chance of retaining their championships. Before the start of the match, Danny Miles’ music hit, and he got on commentary for the match as he is healing up from injury. It was apparent early on that GGC and DJ Powers/Jose Zamora would work together to try and hurt the champions. When Trigga countered a back-body drop, he appeared to hurt his leg, so Dunn was without a partner for the match.
Towards the end of the match, Trigga The OG made his way back down to the ring, limping and all. Despite a bad leg, Trigga took the fight to everyone. Ultimately, after Mirra decides to use the pogo stick, which GGC has told him not to do, The Unit hit him with their finishing move and pinned him to retain their Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships. After the match, Miles hands The Unit the tag team titles and walks to the back. This was a very fun three-way tag team match. GGC looked fantastic as they always do, and DJ Powers & Jose Zamora are two of the most fun young up-and-comers to watch. The Unit remain the top of the mountain in the Chaotic Wrestling tag team division and for good reason.

Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Championship Lumberjack & Jill match: Kalvin Dumont (c) def. Armani Kayos to retain the Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Championship
The first match back from intermission saw Kalvin Dumont put the Chaotic Wrestling Pan Optic Championship on the line against Armani Kayos in the first-ever Lumberjack & Jill match in Chaotic Wrestling history. Dumont had the Lumberjills in his corner (wearing blue), and Kayos had the Lumberjacks in his corner (wearing red). Dumont is coming off a big week as he was in The Walking Dead: Dead City last Sunday night, and tonight he is putting his Pan Optic Championship on the line against Armani Kayos. However, Kayos is certainly no slouch, and we knew how good this match was going to be since it was announced.
Kayos was on his game to start the match, but a Lumberjill got involved, and it caused Dumont to be able to spike Kayos on his head with a Randy Orton-esque middle rope DDT. This was an incredibly entertaining match between two of the greats at Chaotic Wrestling. Kayos hit a big dive onto the outside, taking out everyone. One of the Lumberjacks got in the ring and hit Kayos with a massive spinebuster, allowing Dumont to get the win. This was a lot of fun with a great twist at the end. Kayos is absolutely stellar in whatever he does, and Dumont is one of the most entertaining guys around today.
Andreas John Ziegler def. Anthony Catena
Up next, we saw Anthony Catena make his return to Chaotic Wrestling and go one-on-one with Andreas John Ziegler. AJZ did a good job controlling the match from the onset, with Catena not able to get anything going whatsoever. Catena was able to change the tides of the match when he hung up AJZ on the top rope. However, that didn’t last long as AJZ got right back on track.
Ultimately, AJZ hit a powerslam on Catena to win the match. This was a short, but impactful match between two competitors we don’t get to see much at Chaotic. AJZ and Catena both looked great in this match. AJZ goes by the moniker “The Hunter,” and that was on full effect during this match.

Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship: Mortar (c) def. Brad Cashew to retain the Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship
The main event of the show saw Mortar put his Chaotic Wrestling Heavyweight Championship on the line against Brad Cashew. While they wrestled in front of Cashew’s hometown, Cashew had more fans than normal in attendance as his amateur wrestling team that he coaches was there live. Cashew controlled a good portion of the match using some underhanded tactics to ensure it.
However, Mortar fought back into the match, hitting a huge back body drop on Cashew. Mortar followed this up with some strikes and enzuguri and a springboard moonsault for just a two-count. One of Cashew’s students got involved and tried to help him win by handing him the sign, which he used on Mortar. However, Mortar kicked out after Cashew hit his big boot. Ultimately, after some more great back-and-forth action, Mortar chokeslams Cashew’s student through Cashew, through a door, and locks in the Boston crab on Cashew to force him to tap out. This was a very fun main event to kick off a very fun show. Chaotic doesn’t miss.
