PROGRESS Wrestling has new tag team champions.

Yesterday at PROGRESS Wrestling’s Chapter 181: Far From Ordinary People in Manchester, England, Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II defeated Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper of Sunshine Machine to become the new PROGRESS Tag Team Champions. Kid Lykos is now a five time tag team champion, and is a two time champion alongside Kid Lykos II.

Lykos Gym’s first reign at Tag Team Champions took place back in 2021 during the pandemic and lasted nearly 100 days.

Sunshine Machine captured the Tag Team Championships back in March. This was their first defense of the titles.

I first won these belts as a 17 year old kid in front of two camera men and 2 commentators while the world was shut down

To get them back after nearly 5 years surrounded by a sold out Manchester crowd meant the world last night
