On Saturday, June 28th, Blitzkrieg! Pro returned to Enfield, CT for it’s “7th Annual Luau” event. The show was headlined by CPA defending his Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship against the “Atrocity,” Krule. What not many people saw coming however, is who would go on to win the match.
Following his loss to Andy Brown in the opening contest of the night, Sammy Diaz did not take that loss well at all. During Jay Kharma’s entrance in the Mother of All Scrambles, Diaz took Kharma out, and stole his spot in the match. Diaz went on to win his second “Mother of All Scrambles” match in a row. Thus, earning a Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship match whenever he wanted.
During the main event, CPA and Krule were both exhausted. However, this led to Diaz cashing in his Bedlam Championship opportunity and pinning CPA to become the new Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship. Following CPA’s spear on Krule through a door, Diaz hit his finisher on an unsuspecting CPA and pinned him to officially become the new Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Champion.
This is long overdue for “Top 5, Dead or Alive.” Sammy Diaz Jr. has become a force in the northeast independent wrestling scene. This was a very well-deserved title win. Stay tuned for my recap and review on Blitzkrieg’s 7th Annual Luau event coming soon, where I look at this and a whole bunch of other cool stuff that happened on the show.
