On Sunday, July 13th, Prestige Wrestling returned to Portland, OR for it’s big event, “Combat Clash ’25.” The event saw a ton of excellent action and big moments. Perhaps none were bigger than the main event which saw Judas Icarus capture the Prestige Wrestling World Championship from Alan Angels.
Angels won the Prestige Wrestling World Championship back in September of 2024. He held the title for 308 days. He went on to defeat the likes of Starboy Charlie, Mike Santana, Timothy Thatcher, and Calvin Tankman. Icarus, Angels’ former stablemate, went to war with Angels on Sunday night at Prestige in a Steel Cage match. This was a 45-minute battle between two men who truly despised each other.
Angels had help in his new insurance policy Jordan Cruz, but it wasn’t enough to throw Icarus off his game on this night. In the end, Icarus won the war and the Prestige Wrestling World Championship.
This was certainly a match of the year contender, and I highly recommend anyone checking this match out. It’s free on the Prestige Wrestling YouTube channel. This was easily an all-time classic for Prestige Wrestling.
