On Sunday, July 27th, PROGRESS Wrestling returned to the Electric Ballroom in London for its big event, “Chapter 182: Stay Humble.” The event saw a ton of great action and big moments. However, perhaps none were bigger than the Face-2-Face we saw between Luke Jacobs and Man Like DeReiss.
This was a bitter promo battle between the two men, which saw one of the biggest matches finally announced. Following his win of the Super Strong Style tournament, Man Like DeReiss had the ability to call his shot for a PROGRESS Men’s World Championship match. He made his decision for the August 25th show telling Jacobs he’s going to cash in his shot then.
However, these two won’t just meet in a normal match. Instead, they will meet in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, with everyone barred from ringside. This has all the makings to be a match of the year contender, and could very well be one of PROGRESS Wrestling’s biggest matches in quite some time.
