New Dreamwave Tag Team Champions have been crowned today.
Bang And Matthews (Davey Bang and August Matthews) captured the vacant Dreamwave Tag Team Championships in the finals of the championship tournament. Bang And Matthews defeated Gaige Noonan and Hunter Holdcraft of The Hype at Dreamwave Wrestling’s free event, “Live At The Taste of the Illinois Valley” at Centennial Park in Peru, Illinois.
Bang And Matthews got to the finals of the tournament by defeating The Premier in the semi-finals, while The Hype defeated Hot Commodity. The championships were vacated by The New Guys after Scott Stanley suffered a shoulder injury in late June.
Bang And Matthews are also the current Freelance Wrestling Tag Team Championships.
