John Wayne Murdoch was rushed to the hospital after being set on fire at Juggalo Championship Wrestling’s “Powder Keg” event.

Murdoch had replaced an injured Effy in a three-on-three deathmatch in the main event of the show; which saw Murdoch, 1 Called Manders and Matt Tremont take on 2 Tuff Tony, Mickie Knuckles and Mad Man Pondo.

Murdoch was sent through a door by Pondo and 2 Tuff Tony, that was set on fire by Mickie Knuckles. Once it became apparent that the fire was serious and out of control, everyone involved in the match were attempting to put the fire out by patting down Murdoch. He ran out the ring and the match between the two teams ended in a no contest.

Murdoch’s tag team partner, Reed Bentley gave an update on John’s condition, stating that he’s in a ton of pain. As of 3:26 AM, the time of the update, he was being treated at the hospital. We’ll be sure to have you covered with any updates on this situation. We would also like to wish John Wayne Murdoch a speedy recovery.
