On Friday, August 15th, Fight Life’s owner, Frankie Sbacchis, provided an update on the Fight Life promotion. Following Fight Life’s event, “Outta This World,” in March, we saw the promotion take a brief hiatus. Now, Sbacchis provides a strong update ending with four words, “Fight Life isn’t dead.”
“To the fans of Fight Life who were let down by my lack of events this Summer, hang tight for me. At the time when I canceled those events in May, I felt like such a failure. Now looking back, I can reflect and see how important this break was for me personally.
This is the first Summer in what feels like 10+ years where it’s actually not flying by and I’m enjoying my time. All because I slowed down a little bit. I’ve had time to reflect and feel.
With a clear head, new ideas, and past mistakes and challenges to learn from, it’s almost about that time.
With that being said, I cannot do this alone. I could really use some help. Before, due to my trust issues, I didn’t want to let anyone help me. I am going to try my best to change that and explore more partnerships, as well as bring in people who can help with certain aspects of things. If you want to be a part of FL and feel like you have something to offer, please don’t hesitate to send me a message.
Just wanted to get that out there because I’ve been meaning to say something and update ya’ll.
TL;DR- Fight Life isn’t dead.”
In a post on Facebook and Twitter, the Fight Life owner explains the reason for his hiatus. He cites feeling like a “failure” as the reason for his lack of shows this summer. Fight Life advertised a show in May, “Trinity Wars,” which unfortunately had to be canceled. However, as we look towards the future, Sbacchis says that with a “clear head, new ideas, and past mistakes and challenges to learn from,” he is gearing up for the return of Fight Life.
Fight Life fans, such as myself, are rejoicing over the news. Mental health is very real, and it’s important to note that you should never sacrifice your own mental health for your work. With all of that said, we are all very excited to see Sbacchis back, putting together some fantastic Fight Life shows.
Stay tuned to PWPonderings for updates on Fight Life and their upcoming future shows.
