The ICW No Holds Barred Scotland tour with Bleeding Gums Wrestling will no longer be happening.
Earlier today, Scottish Deathmatch promotion Bleeding Gums Wrestling made a social media post saying that BGW will no longer be running as a promotion.
“As of today Bgw is no longer operating. All Future events are cancelled. All tickets purchased for events in September and November will be refunded in due course. I’m sorry for disappointing people who were looking forward to the shows and to everyone who has helped me the past two years. Due to an incredibly serious personal situation that has happened in the last 48 hours I can no longer operate the company and cause more damage to it, myself or anyone involved with bgw. I will be having someone else deal with the website until the refunds are sorted out. Thanks for anyone who supported bgw in anyway over the last two years. The last show will be posted up on iwtv. I’ll always love Deathmatch Wrestling but I cant be around it or shows anymore for the sake of my health and my family. Again sorry for all this, its been one of the most difficult things I’ve had to do in my life writing this out. Andrew.”
Following the news, ICW NHB made a post stating that they found out about BGW’s shut down through their social media post, just like everyone else. “No warning. No heads up.” They go on to say, “Please be patient with us as this news blindsided us too. We’re just as disappointed as you are, and we truly appreciate your support. NHB will find a way overseas in the future.”
ICW NHB had three events scheduled in Scotland on September 5th, 6th and 7th.
