The wrestling world is currently mourning the loss of Jonathan Echevarria, known as Jaka, following a heart attack that had placed him in critical condition in the ICU. Echevarria passed at the young age of 39 years old.
Jaka began his wrestling career in 2007, and is a 2x EVOLVE Tag Team Champion alongside Chris Dickinson. He was a part of the stable Team Pazuzu alongside Dickinson, Mike Santana and Ortiz, and has wrestled at promotions such as Beyond Wrestling, Chikara, Evolve, AIW, JAPW, GCW, CZW, C4 and PROGRESS Wrestling.
Plenty of people involved in the professional wrestling business took to social media to pay tribute to the beloved wrestler.

A GoFundMe page was been created by Echevarria’s sister Annette Rivera following the medical emergency, but his family will still need the help following his passing.
