The current Game Changer Wrestling World Champion Effy is unable to compete at today’s GCW “Rumble On The River” event.
During today’s GCW return to Indianapolis, GCW commentator Dave Prazak stated on air that the GCW World Champion Effy will be unable to compete in his scheduled match against Billie Starkz tonight. Prazak went on to say that Effy had to visit a local hospital due to his knee swelling up to the size of a baseball. The GCW champion has been dealing with a knee injury since his match against Crowbar on August 1st. He competed last night in Detroit in a four way tag team match alongside Gringo Loco.
No replacement for Effy was announced for the match against Billie Starkz. GCW’s “Rumble On The River” is taking place at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana and is currently streaming live on TrillerTV+.
