Opening Contest: Jordan Cruz vs. Matt Brannigan
Brannigan recently defeated Matt Cardona at Combat Clash 25 to continue his recent roll. Matt goes for some quick pins and gets a dropkick, but Cruz shoulderblocks him down. Matt avoids a clothesline and uses some momentum to knock Cruz down. Cruz avoids a purple nurple and gets a release German suplex. Snap suplex follows and gets two. Jumping knee and a pumphandle type suplex gets another two.
Cruz gets a series of ripcord lariats, but Brannigan ducks the last attempt and hits his own lariat. Corner charge and an iconoclasm by Matt gets a two count. Brannigan gets a somersault splash and a DVD for a close two count. Matt sets up Cruz for Butt Chin Music (still weird to type but getting used to it) and connects. Cruz however lands an impressive suplex from the outside in off the turnbuckle. Kneestrike and No More Sorrow are delivered for the victory for Jordan Cruz. **¾ This was solid with limited silly stuff and gives Cruz a solid victory for what will hopefully be an upcoming push.

Match Two: Liiza Hall vs. Haley Dylan
Dylan gets some good crowd support to start. Mat exchange with Hall getting a side headlock. Dylan switches up to a leglock and they quickly break. Ripcord clothesline misses for Hall but she gets a backslide for two. Liiza kicks away but Dylan blocks and gets an anklelock. German suplex from Haley gets two. Sleeper is countered by Hall, who lands a penalty kick and senton for two. Rain City Stretch is locked in but Dylan escapes and gets a spinning backflist and kneestrike for two. Sharpshooter is attempted with Hall getting to the ropes. DVD from Hall and a modified Kimura lock finishes Dylan for the tapout. **

Match Three: Cole Rivera vs. Drexl
Drexl enters with a Blues Clues puppet on his hand, and I have no additional comments to make on that. Rivera jumps Drexl at the bell out of frustration. Nice dropkick connects for only one. Rivera stomps away as the fans chant “Blues Clues” at him, which may be a first in wrestling history.
Drexl shrugs off some right hands but is hit with a snap suplex. To the outside, which would seem like a bad idea for Cole. He throws Drexl into the seats and dives on top of him. Back in, a German suplex and shining wizard land for Rivera, who gets a two-count pulling Drexl up before the three. Rivera stomps the Blues Clues puppet to some crowd heat, but Drexl gets the testicular claw with the puppet and rolls up Rivera for the flash win. *½

Match Four: New Texas Pro World Championship – Carter BlaQ (c) vs. Travis Williams
Williams takes the technical advantage and BlaQ ends up casually tossing him outside to counter. Bodyslam and elbow drop from the champ gets a one count. Travis low bridges BlaQ to the outisde and follows with a tope suicida. Dropkick sends the champion into the seats as we had back inside. Professional Lariat times two for a two count.
Travis charges but gets hit with a back bodydrop (with a nasty bump on his head) and a German suplex. Carter gives him a Falcon Arrow for two. To the top where BlaQ connects with a superplex and looks for the F16, but Williams slips out and looks for Cattle Mutilation but can’t get it. Travis runs into a boot but comes back with a brainbuster for two, then locks in Cattle Mutilation. He loses he grip so follows with a rolling forearm for two.
BlaQ catches him with Snake Eyes and gets the F16, but Williams slips into a Labell Lock. The champion pounds his way out of that hold and they duke it out. F16 lands again for the champ to retain. ***¼ Poor Travis wins the Cascadia Cup, then watches his partner become Prestige Champion and can’t get a title of his own yet.
Match Five: Prestige World Tag Team Championships – Midnight Heat (c) vs. The Hammer Brothers
This was an open challenge answered by the Hammers. Big brawl to start with the challengers on the advantage. Wheelbarrow on Pearl as Gibson gets squashed in the corner by Sledge. Cradle by Jack gets two. Thesz Press and a series of clotheslines from Jack. Sledge with a chokeslam for each member of the Heat. Jackhammer to Pearl and the Hammers look for the Diesel Hammer, but Gibson runs in with the title belt for the DQ finish. ** Not too much of a match here but a good angle to keep the Hammer Brothers on the chase.
Two hooded guys run in after the match and destroy the Heat, then reveal themselves as the Good Brothers.

Match Six: Kevin Blackwood vs. Cody Chhun
Blackwood with some early mat wrestling. Chhun comes back with an atomic drop and dropkick for two. Cody Cutter misses as Blackwood gets a stiff kick and side suplex for a two count. Snap suplex and penalty kick to the back. They fight over a suplex which is won by Chhun. Another dropkick and corner splash by Cody, then a DDT follows for a two count.
Powerbomb with a stack pin gets two. Cody goes up looking for another cutter, but Blackwood scurries in with a kneestrike. On the apron, Blackwood looks for a brainbuster but Chhun fights out and again tries the cutter, but Kevin catches him and drops him onto the apron. Blackwood with a double footstomp to the back of Chhun inside the ring now for a close two count.
We go up top again where they battle and Chhun gets a superplex. Cody Cutter finally connects for a very close two count. Gutwrench is countered with an enzuigiri. Small package by Blackwood gets two. DVD and a buzzsaw kick gets another two count. Running kneestrike by Kevin for two. Cody gets a superkick and tries the cutter once again, but jumps right into a German suplex. Double footstomp from Blackwood gets the win. **** A tremendously smooth and entertaining match.
Match Seven: Elliot Tyler & Sid Sylum vs. Jaiden & Zaye Perez
Perez starts with a dive and a rana on Tyler. Jaiden tags in with an assisted Codebreaker for two. Perez knows Sid off the apron allowing Jaiden to get a tope con hilo to the floor. Back in, a frustrated Tyler gets a big chop on Perez and takes over. Sid tags in for some more punishment getting a suplex for two. Gorilla press slam and big splash as Sylum takes a page from the Ultimate Warrior moveset.
Tyler tags back in with a back elbow for two. Sylum enters to continue the heat segment but gets hit low. Perez makes the tag but the referee did not see it and the heels stay in control. Delayed vertical suplex from Sylum and Sid goes up top, but Perez fires up and knocks the heels into each other. Tag made to Jaiden who enters with a springboard Stunner and Sliced Bread #2 on Tyler.
Jaiden goes coast to coast on Sylum and heads back up. Superhero splash gets two on Tyler. Sylum attacks from behind with a powerbomb for two. Perez and Tyler make tags to become the legal competitors. Sid goes for a chair but has it taken away by Spencer Scott at ringside. Jaiden charges but runs into the chair and Spencer Scott. Powerbomb and running forearm to Perez finish this one. **

Match Eight: DPW Proving Ground Match – Nicole Matthews vs. Amira
If Amira wins or lasts ten minutes, she gets a future DPW Women’s Title shot. Amira with some armdrags for a quick start. Chops in the corner and she goes for a headscissor takedown but Matthews blocks and drops her down face first. Matthews gets a modified abdominal stretch hold which Amira quickly breaks and then gets the headscissor takedown. Matthews grabs the hair of Amira and then wrenches the left leg. She rams the leg into the ringpost a few times as we get the five minutes gone announcement.
The champion gets a leglock which Amira fights out of and drills a bridging German suplex for two with three minutes remaining. Brainbuster by Amira gets two. The champion gets a swinging neckbreaker for two followed by some front kicks as we have one minute remaining. Amira fires up looking for the victory and gets a crucifix for two. Pinfall reversal sequence winds up in a single-leg Boston Crab for Matthews as the clock ticks down and Amira holds on to last the full 10 minutes and earn a future title shot. **½ Solid, simple angle to get Amira in the DPW title picture.

Main Event: Prestige World Championship – Judas Icarus (c) vs. Titus Alexander
They hug it out in a show of sportsmanship then get right to the mat wrestling exchanges. Titus misses a dropkick and Icarus gets a kneelift. A series of corner chops by the champion and cravat applied. Titus avoids a splash and bodyslams the champ and gets a low dropkick sending Icarus to the floor. Asai moonsault to the floor by Alexander. Some brawling in the crowd is next, with Titus pausing to sip a White Claw. Back in, Alexander with a side suplex for two. Double footstomp and penalty kick but Judas fires back with chops knocking Titus down. Double underhook bomb from Icarus for two. Titus regains control with a DVD/neckbreaker combo getting a two count. Stunner by Icarus, but misses a lariat and Alexander gets a Lethal Injection for two. Up top, Icarus wins the battle and gets a twisting superplex. He can’t get the pin however as Titus rolls to the apron. The champion quickly follows outside with a dive and then lands a frog splash back inside the ring for a two count. Icarus with a corner charge Alexander, who in turn hits a brainbuster out of nowhere. Release German suplex and superkick by Titus, but Judas rebounds with the Lighthouse Lariat for two. Inverted suplex into a cutter finishes for the champ to retain. ***½ Good match as expected but could have done without the crowd brawling portion.
After the match, the newly heel-turned Kevin Blackwood enters and declares his intention for the Prestige title, and they agree to a match at Roseland XII.

Final Thoughts: Blackwood vs Chhun was the show-stealer for me, but the main event was solid as well, in addition to BlaQ vs. Williams. Good to see Amira back as well and being thrust into a title picture quickly.
