A rivalry reignited.
Deadlock Pro has made a huge match announcement for their “Super Battle” event next month. AEW’s Roderick Strong will take on longtime friend and rival Erick Stevens at their October 19th event in Charlotte, North Carolina. This rivalry dates back to the early 2000s in promotions such as FIP and ROH. Their last singles match against eachother was in 2010.
This rare independent wrestling appearance will be Strong’s first time inside a DPW ring since May 2024, where he faced Fuminori Abe.
