Honor Among Wrestling 8/30/2025 HAW Uninvited IV: Queens Gambit Review

Honor Among Wrestling’s “Uninvited IV: Queen’s Gambit” took place on August 30, 2025 in LeClaire, Iowa and is available On Demand on Title Match Network.

Ashlyn Alexander vs Kelsey Magnolia

Ashlyn Alexander is one of the top female stars in the Midwest. This is my first time seeing Kelsey Magnolia. Ashlyn dominates the beginning of the match, but Kelsey uses some sneaky tactics to get the advantage. They fight back and forth with Ashlyn using her power advantage and Kelsey using her reach advantage to try to keep Ashlyn at bay. Kelsey picks up the win with a pin, while having her feet on the ropes. Ashlyn was the star of this match, but I would really like to see more of Kelsey, as it looks like she has a lot of potential.

Brittnie Brooks vs Shazza McKenzie

The Australian veteran, Shazza McKenzie, taking on the incredible young star, the self-proclaimed center of attention, Brittnie Brooks. They go hold for hold to start the match. Shazza tries to use her experience to take some short cuts, but Brittnie’s athleticism evens the odds. Both wrestlers have some very innovative offense. Brittnie gets the win and continues her winning ways

Triple Threat Match: Lady Pink vs La Pegasa vs Kalientita

These are three young lucha inspired wrestlers, making their HAW debuts and looking to impress. La Pegasa is from the Pittsburgh area, while Kalientita is from San Antonio and Lady Pink is from Mexico. This match is very fast paced, as you would expect from three young luchadoras. La Pagasa picks up the win and was the most impressive in this match, with her high flying moves and energy. I would love to see more of all three of these wresters, as they had a very fun match.

HAW Women’s Legacy Title 4 way (vacant): Allie Quin vs Stella Buho vs Brooke Havok vs Sadie Belle

Brooke Havok is the most experienced wrestler in this match, as she has wrestled almost everywhere in the country in the past couple of years. I am also a fan of Stella Buho, as she is an owl and that is fun. Brooke and Stella brought the high energy. Allie Quin really impressed me in my first time seeing her, but it was Sadie Belle, who came out on top and became the new Legacy Champion.

Lili Ruiz vs Leyla Hirsh

Lili Ruiz has had an incredible year and is looking to go to the places that Leyla Hirsch has been. They exchange holds on the mat early and that is Leyla’s wheelhouse. Lili needs to resort to an eye poke to get the advantage. She trash talks Leyla, which is never a good idea. Leyla gets the win with a moonsault from the top rope. Really good match with Lili trying to use her power, but falling to Leyla’s technique and experience.

Cage Match: Regan Lydale vs Kat Carter

Regan Lydale comes to the ring prepared, with a steel chair in hand. Regan attacks Kat Carter as Kat is entering the cage and they fight on the outside. Regan has the advantage in the cage and trash talks the fans. Kat starts bleeding, but brings the fight to Regan. Kat Carter gets the win with a crossbody off the ropes.

This was a really fun, short show, that I would recommend checking out. There are a lot of the top stars of women’s wrestling in the Midwest, along with some new names. The best match on the show was Brittnie Brooks against Shazza McKenzie, as it probably should be, as they are both established stars. I would love to see more of Kelsey Magnolia, Allie Quin, and all three wrestlers from the triple threat, as all of these wrestlers look to have a lot of potential. During the event, they announced that Uninvited 5 will take place in February 2026.
