Last night, The Philippou brothers (Danny and Michael Philippou) collaborated with Game Changer Wrestling and Lucha Libre Vanguardia to bring “Deathmatch Mexican Rush” in Pachuca, Mexico.
The directors behind A24 horror movies “Talk To Me” and “Bring Her Back” filmed an Exploding Barbed Wire Match for their upcoming A24 Deathmatch documentary. Michael Philippou himself competed in the match alongside Ciclope, Miedo Extremo and Rina Yamashita.

This wasn’t Phillipou’s first deathmatch, as he has competed twice before against GCW’s Jimmy Lloyd, with one of the matches being filmed for the upcoming deathmatch documentary. The documentary has yet to receive a release date.
