ICW No Holds Barred owner Danny Demanto has released a statement regarding his future as a professional wrestler.

Danny Demanto, whose 2025 has been his 25th year as a professional wrestler, stated that this year will be his last year as a full-time professional wrestler. 2025 will be the last time you will see him wrestle outside of ICW NHB. He went on to say that in 2026, he will be taking less of a physical in ring schedule in ICW NHB as well. His “last fight” will take place in 2026.

“I have written this out few times lately and completely deleted it but I feel today is finally the day.

2025 was/is my 25th year as a professional wrestler. A dream job that I’ve wanted since was only 2 years old. have gotten to do more than I ever thought I’d be capable of.

Over the years I have accumulated a lot of injuries along the way due to the risk < reward mentality I’ve always gone by. Some injuries l’ve taken care of and some I’ve completely ignored. Well, it’s gotten to the point that I can’t ignore them anymore.

I understand my responsibility as the owner of ICW No Holds Barred. I have a lot of people counting on me to always be at my best and that includes trying to stay out of a wheelchair.

I have come to the conclusion that I need to set some type of boundaries for myself or this will continue to get worse.

This is the decision l’ve come to…

the rest of 2025 wiIl be my last year as a fulltime active professional wrestler. What exactly does that mean? 2025 is the LAST time you will see me on any other shows other than ICW NHB. There is 2 exceptions to that rule for 2 different companies and 2 different matches I liked to have before I finish up. Those companies are fully aware of both of these matches. In 2026 I will be taking less of a physical in ring schedule even in ICW NHB. I still have some gas in me but if I’m being completely honest, it’s running low. My “last fight” will take place in 2026.

Pro wrestling will forever be my first love. I just need to be smart and do the right there for myself and those that count on me.
