The Femmes Fatales tournament took place across four shows in three days at the WXW Grand Prix. It showcased many different styles across many different nationalities.
Show 1 and 2 would have the first round matches, show 3 would have the semifinals and show 4 would have the finals. None of these matches disappointed, all the way up to an incredible finals.

The first match of Show 1 is a First Round match between Baby Allison and Leyla Hirsch. Leyla gets a very positive reaction from the crowd that seems to take her aback a bit. This is very much a clash of styles. Allison has the height advantage and has a very unique offense, compared to the traditional grappling and hard striking offense of Leyla. Allison has a bit of a scary look and personality, but Legit Leyla is not easily intimidated. Leyla is victorious after hitting a mooonsault.

The second First Round match of show 1 is B3CCA against Orsi. B3CCA sings her hit single “Hot Bod” as she makes her way to the ring. Even after they get an incredible performance from B3CCA, the crowd is squarely behind Orsi. B3CCA has stated that she is out to prove that she is not a comedy act and that the singing is just an addition to her being one of the best female wrestles in the world.
B3CCA hits some impressive moves early in the match, but might have got a little too confident, trash talking Orsi and the crowd. B3CCA shows off her athleticism in this match, but Orsi is very determined and focused on moving on to the next round. Orsi hits B3CCA with a glitter bomb for the win and to advance to the next round. This will not be the only time that we see B3CCA this weekend. B3CCA also took on Lil Marz and Reyca at Inner Circle, she was involved in the Extreme Scramble at Extreme Wrestling Party and took on Lil Marz at the Pre-Show on Night 3. B3CCA will also be sticking around Europe for next week’s EVE show, where she will be taking on Rayne Leverkusen.

The first First Round match on Show 2 is between Stephanie Maze and Safire Reed. The crowd seems to like both competitors, but are very into Safire, who shows off her speed and athletic ability. However, Maze fires back with a flurry of kicks, suplexes and knees. Safire is taking some really hard strikes from Maze and keeps coming back. She is showing the toughness that we have seen from her in EVE. Reed is able to withstand everything that Maze can dish out, and gets the win with a flying headbutt.
The last First Round match is Anita Vaughan against Emersyn Jayne. These two competitors are very familiar with each other. Anita Vaughan is looking to repeat, as she really rose to star status during the Femmes Fattals Tournament last year. Emersyn may be better known for her death matches, but she can wrestle any style. These two women can use their power to throw each other around the ring, or try to lock in submissions. This is really a back and forth match, where each try to find something to hit their opponent with that the other is not expecting. Anita is able to pick up the win with a sit-down powerbomb. This match could have gone either way, but it is the defending champion that moves on.

The first Semi- Finals match of Show 3 is Orsi against Anita Vaughan. The crowd is evenly split on who they want to win, as both wrestlers are very popular. Both of these competitors are very strong, but also, very technically sound. This match is even in every way, even with then exchanging fall away slams. Orsi tries to go for her finisher, the Glitterbomb, but Anita turns it into a side slam, followed by a powerbomb for the win. Orsi may have lost this match, but she really cemented herself as a top wrestler in the two matches that she had in this tournament.
The final Semi-Final match is Safire Reed against Leyla Hirsch. This is an interesting matchup, as Leyla certainly has the experience advantage, while Safire is one of the best young wrestlers in the world. The match starts out fast, which you would think favors Safire, but Leyla catches Safire on a dive to the outside and swings her into the chairs. Leyla then begins to slow down the match.
The pace picks back up and Safire hits a dropkick off the top and the momentum of this match keeps going back and forth. Safire goes for the flying forearm, but Leyla moves out of the way, and runs to the other corner and hits a moonsault. Safire kicks out of the pin attempt. Leyla immediately locks in Death Lock, and locks it in deep, but Safire is able to escape and hits the forearm off the ropes for the win.

The Finals are on Show 4 and pit the Hyperactive teammates, Anita Vaughan and Safire Reed, against each other. This is a battle of friends and tag team partners, but that doesn’t mean that they are going to hit any less hard. Anita is looking to make history by becoming the first back-to-back champion and Safire wants to show that she is the best in Europe.
Anita is the more powerful wrestler and shows that with her strikes, Safire tries to go toe to toe with her, but that does not work. Anita seems to be a step ahead of her young partner, as Safire hesitates a little too long and Anita is able to move out of the way when Safire goes for a double stomp on the apron. This hurts Safire’s knee and it looks like Anita is going to win by count out. Anita does not want to win that way and pulls Safire back in the ring. She tells her we are going to finish this in the ring. However, Safire immediately hits Anita with a flying headbutt. They exchange strikes and Anita hits a lariat followed by a powerbomb, but Safire kicks out of the pin attempt, and the crowd chants “This is Awesome”. After they exchange strikes, Safire hits Anita with her flying headbutt again for the win.

This was an incredible tournament, and all the matches were great. My favorite matches were the finals, B3CCA against Orsi and Leyla Hirsch against Safire Reed. Safire had incredible matches throughout the tournament and deserved the victory. You can watch all these matches, along with the rest of wXw’s Grand Prix on TrillerTV+.
