From the weekend of Friday, October 3rd, through Sunday, October 5th, independent wrestling was alive and well. There were multiple events this weekend, from the East Coast to the West Coast and everything in between. From the likes of Wrestling Revolver, Chaotic Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling, West Coast Pro Wrestling, and Create A Pro, here are five matches every fan of independent wrestling should go back and check out.

5. Krule vs. Joe Dred vs. Alex Colon from Wrestling Revolver “Tales From The Ring”

On Friday, October 3rd, Wrestling Revolver returned to the Calumet Center in Dayton, OH, for its big event, “Tales From The Ring.” This served as Revolver’s Halloween-type show and was hosted by Shotzi Blackheart. The main event of the event saw Krule meet Judge Joe Dred and Alex Colon in a Trick or Treat Deathmatch. This match was like a car accident in the best way possible. It was violent, gruesome, bloody, and you couldn’t look away. For a while, Dred and Colon were able to work together to take out the much larger opponent. However, that alliance didn’t last too long. Krule is one of the most dominant forces in independent wrestling today. Every time he’s in the ring, he just has an aura around him that leaves everyone amazed. I highly recommend people go back and watch and support the monster, Krule. This was an amazingly violent death match and is worth checking out. Even if you’re not a big deathmatch guy (like me), you’ll still very much enjoy this one. It’s able to be watched back on TrillerTV+.

4. The Unit vs. The Powers of Influence vs. Miracle Generation from Chaotic Wrestling “A Haunting In Tewksbury Part V”

Also on Friday, October 3rd, we saw Chaotic Wrestling make its return to Tewksbury, MA, for its big event, “A Haunting In Tewksbury Part V.” This also marked Chaotic’s Halloween-type event. One of the biggest matches of the show saw The Unit’s JT Dunn & Danny Miles put their Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships on the line against the Powers of Influence’s DJ Powers & Jose Zamora, and Miracle Generation’s Dustin Waller & Kylon King. This match stole the show. Simply put, this was a match featuring three of the greatest tag teams on the Northeast independent wrestling scene. Everyone showed up and showed out in this one, and it was as good as it sounded when it was announced, and then some. The Unit continued their dominating ways, and truly look unstoppable when they’re on the same page. Go back and check this one out on the Chaotic Wrestling Twitch and YouTube channels.

3. 1 Called Manders vs. Drew Parker from GCW “The Last Frontier”

On Saturday, October 4th, Game Changer Wrestling made its debut in Anchorage, AK, with its major event, “The Last Frontier.” The event kicked off in a great way with Marcus Mathers taking on Alaska’s own, Auron West. However, perhaps the match that followed was the best match of the night. 1 Called Manders did battle with Drew Parker in a hard-hitting bout. Manders and Parker are two of GCW’s best bout machines. Both can get violent, with Parker dabbling more in the deathmatch scene than Manders does. Nonetheless, the two meshed incredibly well together. This match was cinema, and then some. The ending, which saw Manders kiss Parker’s forehead, was a beautiful touch to an amazing match. If you like two people who just want to beat the hell out of each other, this is truly the one for you. Go back and check this one out on TrillerTV+.

2. Andrew Cass vs. Danny Orion from West Coast Pro’s “For The Love of the Game II”

On Friday, October 3rd, West Coast Pro Wrestling returned to Pacifica, CA, for its big event, “For The Love of the Game II.” This marked the second event of its kind. It’s a mystery show with no matches announced going into it. This leaves fans very interested in seeing what goes on. At the first installment, we saw AEW’s Lee Moriarty show up and wrestle. This time around, we saw the 2025 West Coast Cup take place, and even saw Atticus Cogar and Ryan Clancy show up. The finals of the tournament saw Andrew Cass battle Danny Orion in what I would call one of the greatest main events that West Coast Pro has ever seen. Both Cass and Orion are two of the West Coast’s best young guns. Seeing them square off with one another was interesting, considering how new both are. But watching this match, you’d never be able to guess that. Cass and Orion put on a fantastic main event, which was hands down the best of the entire show. Now is the time to jump on the Cass and Orion bandwagon. They’re both just starting out, but the magic they make in the ring together is out of this world. Go back and check this one out on Highspots.

1. TJ Crawford vs. Nick Robles from Create A Pro “Basebrawl Fundraiser”

On Saturday, October 4th, Create A Pro Wrestling held its big event live from Merrick, NY, “Basebrawl Fundraiser.” This event marked a fundraising partnership with the Merrick Bellmore Little League. This show saw a ton of great stuff, including an MLB team rumble, a tables match with Bubba Ray Dudley, an all-star 10-man tag team match, and so much more. However, perhaps nothing stole the show more than TJ Crawford putting his Create A Pro Television Championship on the line against Nick Robles. Create A Pro has seen its fair share of great matches, but this may have been the greatest Create A Pro Television Championship match that we have ever seen. Crawford and Robles left it all out in the ring. Without giving too much away, Robles had his best match of his career, and it showed. The crowd was firmly behind him, and he had just improved so much in the ring. Robles has an incredibly bright future. As for Crawford, we all know how downright incredible he is. It’s a travesty that he isn’t signed yet. This match isn’t out yet, but trust me when I tell you, this is one you’ll want to watch live when it drops. It will be on the Create A Pro YouTube channel.
