On Saturday, October 11th, Blitzkrieg! Pro returned to Enfield, CT, for it’s event, “Wild In The Streets.” The event streamed live on IWTV.

The main event of the show saw Charles Mason team up with SLADE to take on Priscilla Kelly and Zachary Wentz.

We also saw Sammy Diaz put his Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship on the line against Ichiban, Oro & Andy Brown compete in tag team action, Lena Kross do battle with Amity LaVey, Bear Bronson goes one-on-one with TJ Crawford, the Ancestral City Shooters face off with Sinner & Saint, and so much more. Check out the full recap and review for this very fun event down below.

Jensen Scramble Championship: Perry Von Vicious (c) def. CPA, Ash Bennett, 50 Cal, & Logan Black

The opening match of the show saw Perry Von Vicious put his Jensen Scramble Championship on the line against CPA, Ash Bennett, 50 Cal, & Logan Black in a scramble match. This was a very special way to start the show, as the match began immediately after the 10-bell salute to honor the former commissioner, Tim Jensen, who passed away. This was a great scramble match to honor him.

All five men in this match had a great chance to show what they bring to the table. Each of the five showed up and showed out to open up “Wild In The Streets.” In the end, Von Vicious hit his “Perry Go Round” on CPA to win the match and retain his Jensen Scramble Championship. Perry has been the perfect choice to represent the Jensen Championship since its inception, and Tim has to be looking down with a big smile at seeing just how good of hands Blitzkrieg! Pro is in.

Bear Bronson def. TJ Crawford

Following the Jensen Championship match, we saw what was sure to be a good match take place. Bear Bronson continues his independent wrestling takeover as he gets set to take on a former Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Champion, TJ Crawford. This was a relaxed rules grudge match, and was a great callback to their brutal, but amazing rivalry at Create A Pro.

This was a fantastic match, which showed a lot of “anything you can do, I can do better.” These two men flat-out don’t like each other. It was a hard-hitting war, and it delivered on the hype and then some. In the end, Bronson defeated Crawford with a fire thunder driver. This was a fantastic match. Bronson and Crawford are two of the greatest on the independent wrestling scene today, bar none. Highly recommend checking out each of these men’s work and supporting them. Truly two remarkable talents.

Wrench & Resolve (Erik Chacha & Jake Gray) def. Los Ifico’s (El Magnifico & El Terrifico)

Next up, we saw Wrench & Resolve’s Erik Chacha & Jake Gray face off with one of Blitzkrieg! Pro’s newest tag teams, Los Ifico’s El Magnifico & El Terrifico. Wrench & Resolve continues to be one of the most over tag teams in Blitzkrieg! Pro today, and a few more wins could put them in the title picture against the Savage Gnomes.

The Los Ifico’s looked like a very promising, young tag team. Despite being smaller than most of their opponents, they have a very good tandem offense, and their agility could make them a problem for just about anyone they square off with. In the end, Wrench & Resolve hit a swing blade/leg sweep combo on Magnifico to get the win here. Be on the lookout for both these teams climbing the ranks in Blitzkrieg! Pro.

Lena Kross def. Amity LaVey

Following the tag team match, we saw two big debuts as Lena Kross made her debut to Blitzkrieg! Pro to take on Amity LaVey. This was probably my favorite match of the night, with Bronson vs. TJ, and Zachary Wentz/Priscilla Kelly vs. Charles Mason/SLADE being very close seconds. Kross is one of the most sought-after free agents around today, and it was so cool to see her in a Blitzkrieg! Pro ring.

Kross is truly one of the best today. However, LaVey is no slouch either. Her unique style and incredible wrestling ability made this a very exciting match to watch, and the two meshed very well. In the end, Kross dodges a middle rope moonsault from LaVey and hits her with a bicycle kick and a neckbreaker from a fireman’s carry for the three-count. This was a must-see match. Fantastic debut for both of these women. Truly a remarkable showing from both.

Ancestral City Shooters (Joseph Alexander & Kwesi Asante) def. Sinner & Saint (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)

Next up, we saw the Ancestral City Shooters, Joseph Alexander & Kwesi Asante, square off with one of the top tag teams from the West Coast and on the independent wrestling scene today, Sinner & Saint, Judas Icarus & Travis Williams. It was a pleasure getting to see Icarus and Williams make their Blitzkrieg! Pro debut against one of the top tag teams in all of Blitzkrieg! Pro.

The Ancestral City Shooters are very close to earning a shot over at the Blitzkrieg! Pro Tag Team Championships against the Savage Gnomes. Alexander & Asante have grown a great amount as a tag team in Blitzkrieg! Pro, and they should be strongly considered to be next in line to win the Blitzkrieg! Pro Tag Team Championships. In the end, Alexander hit a double jump to the top rope into a rebound cutter, taking down Icarus, and Asante followed it up with a beautiful move from the top to win the match.

Mike Graca (w/ Katey Prescott) def. Angelo Carter

Next up, we saw Mike Graca make his return to Blitzkrieg! Pro, accompanied by his manager Katey Prescott. Graca faced off with one of the top talents in Blitzkrieg! Pro, Angelo Carter. Sometimes, Carter doesn’t always get the recognition he deserves on the independent wrestling scene, but Carter is truly one of the best that the northeast wrestling scene has today. He truly deserves to be viewed as such.

It was awesome getting to see Graca and Prescott back in a Blitzkrieg! Pro ring. Graca and Prescott are two of my favorites and truly impress me every time we see them. Prescott is an incredible manager to watch, plays the heel role perfectly. Sometimes, people forget how important managers are in this current age of professional wrestling, but Prescott deserves credit for excelling at that role. In the end, Kirby Wackerman hangs up Carter over the top rope, and Graca capitalizes on it with a fire thunder driver for a three-count and to win the match.

Oro & Andy Brown def. Adrenaline Express (Eric James & VSK)

Up next, we saw Oro and Andy Brown team up to face off with Adrenaline Express, Eric James & VSK. The match was originally supposed to be a one-on-one with Oro & Brown, but Adrenaline Express made their way down to the ring, and the match quickly turned into a tag team match with Oro and Brown joining forces. Hopefully, we will see them have another singles match sooner rather than later.

Oro and Brown looked great in this one. The same can certainly be said for James & VSK. Hopefully, we see more of Adrenaline Express in Blitzkrieg! Pro. This was a very fun back-and-forth tag team match between the two teams. In the end, however, Oro hit a spinning heel kick on VSK in the corner, leading to Brown hitting a “finish him,” knocking him out and winning the match for the three-count.

Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship: Sammy Diaz (c) def. Ichiban to retain his Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship

In the first of two main events, we saw Sammy Diaz put the Blitzkrieg! Pro Bedlam Championship on the line against Ichiban. Diaz won the Bedlam Championship all the way back in June, defeating CPA and Krule at the 7th Annual Luau event. He’s now held the title for 100+ days with no signs of slowing down. Ichiban proved to be a very formidable challenger to Diaz, and the two continue to put on very good matches together.

This was an excellent Bedlam Championship match, and on any other show, this could have been a main event. However, tonight’s show was different. Diaz is continuing to show why he is truly “top five or dead alive.” In the end, Diaz hits a cradle shock on Ichiban to win the match and retain his Bedlam Championship. A very good defense for Diaz, and he doesn’t look like he’s dropping the title anytime soon.

Zachary Wentz & Priscilla Kelly def. Charles Mason & SLADE

The main event of the show saw Zachary Wentz team up with Priscilla Kelly to take on Charles Mason and a partner of his choosing, who turned out to be Slade. Mason went one-on-one with Wentz and Kelly in separate matches, scoring a victory over Wentz but losing to Kelly. If you know anything about Mason, you know that he doesn’t have matches; he has fights. This one truly was going to follow suit, and fans wouldn’t be disappointed.

Mason and Slade are two of the scariest and most violent individuals on the independent wrestling scene today. This tag match did not disappoint. It was everything we hoped it would be and then some. I didn’t envy the referee in this one, as this one broke down quick. In one of the coolest moments of the match, Kelly hit Slade with a beautiful suplex on the stage in the venue. In the end, Kelly hit a tiger bomb on Mason, and Wentz landed a swanton bomb on him for the three-count. After the match, Slade and Mason handcuffed Kelly to the bottom rope and Mason landed a tombstone piledriver, and a gotch-style tombstone piledriver on Wentz. Amazing ending to the event. Mason and Slade are now the top dogs in Blitzkrieg! Pro, and everyone should be put on notice. Hopefully, we see Wentz & Kelly back soon!
