From the weekend of Friday, October 10th, through Sunday, October 12th, we saw independent wrestling shows from the West Coast all the way to the East Coast. There were multiple events in multiple states, on multiple streaming services. From the likes of Blitzkrieg! Pro, Dreamwave Wrestling, GCW, Beyond Wrestling, and House of Glory, here are five matches every fan of independent wrestling should go back and check out.

5. Ryan Clancy vs. Alex Reynolds from Beyond Wrestling’s “Bound For The Floor”

Also on Sunday, October 12th, we saw Beyond Wrestling host a big technical wrestling tournament in their big event, “Bound For The Floor.” This event was roughly five minutes from TNA’s big “Bound For Glory” show and was earlier in the day. The main event of the show saw Ryan Clancy meet Alex Reynolds in the finals of the “Bound For The Floor” tournament. This was arguably my favorite match of the night. Reynolds is very good, and I enjoy seeing him showcase exactly how good he is. However, the one who really wowed me here was Clancy. In 2025, Clancy has been showing he can hang with the best of them, including going toe-to-toe with Timothy Thatcher. Without spoiling too much, this was a fun match that told a great story. I urge everyone to go back and watch this one, now available on the IWTV Beyond Wrestling VOD channel.

4. Lena Kross vs. Amity LaVey from Blitzkrieg! Pro’s “Wild In The Streets”

On Saturday, October 11th, Blitzkrieg! Pro returned to Enfield, CT, for its big event, “Wild In The Streets.” This whole event was a lot of fun. However, perhaps the match to recommend most for a rewatch is Lena Kross going one-on-one with Amity LaVey. This match marked both Kross and LaVey’s debuts at Blitzkrieg! Pro, and this match ruled. Kross is one of the most sought-after free agents, and it’s very easy to see why. She’s terrific. As for LaVey, she has one of the most unique characters and movesets on the independent wrestling scene. Despite her youth in wrestling, LaVey has consistently shown that she can hang with the best of them. Be on the lookout for both of these women to do great things in the world of professional wrestling. Now is the time to jump on the bandwagon and support them both. This is one I highly recommend everyone go back and check out. It’s now available on IWTV on the Blitzkrieg! Pro VOD channel.

3. Connor Hopkins vs. Channing Thomas from Dreamwave Wrestling’s “Trick or Treat”

Also on Saturday, October 11th, we saw Dreamwave Wrestling return to Peru, IL, for its big event, “Trick or Treat.” This marked Dreamwave’s Halloween-themed event. This was another fantastic event from beginning to end that I highly suggest everyone go back and watch from start to finish when it becomes available. However, my favorite match of the night saw Connor Hopkins put his Dreamwave Championship on the line against Channing Thomas. As always, Thomas was accompanied by his manager, Sidney Bakabella. Without spoiling too much, this was just an insanely good match. Hopkins can’t have a bad match, and Thomas is right up there with him. These two meshed incredibly well together. Hopkins was an amazing Dreamwave Champion, and he deserves to be acknowledged and such. I’m very excited to see more of Thomas at Dreamwave going forward. Go check out both of these men’s work and support them however you can. Also, go back and enjoy this entire event, especially the main event, when it becomes available on IWTV as a part of the Dreamwave Wrestling VOD channel.

2. BearDozer (Bear Bronson & Matt Tremont) vs. Shotzi Blackheart & Emersyn Jayne from GCW “Fight Club Night Two”

On Sunday, October 12th, we saw Game Changer Wrestling return to The Showboat in Atlantic City for their big event, “Fight Club Night Two.” This event marked the second straight show on the second straight night. This was the much better show of the two between this one and Saturday’s “Fight Club Night One.” The match I urge everyone to go back and check out is the tag team match, which took place in the middle of the show, which saw Bear Bronson team up with Matt Tremont, collectively known as BearDozer, to face off with Shotzi Blackheart and Emersyn Jayne. We saw Jayne compete the night before, but this was such a better match for her. It’s also been an absolute blast seeing Shotzi return to the independent wrestling scene. As for Bronson and Tremont, what more can we say? Tremont is a legend in the ring of the deathmatch scene, and since departing from AEW, Bronson is out to prove exactly how good he is. Spoiler alert, he’s downright incredible. Go back and watch this match on TrillerTV+.

1. Charles Mason vs. Man Like DeReiss from House of Glory’s “With Glory Comes Pride”

Arguably, my favorite match of the weekend came back on Friday, October 10th, when Charles Mason defended the House of Glory World Championship against Man Like DeReiss at House of Glory’s “With Glory Comes Pride.” This event was incredibly stacked, including matches like Killer Kross vs. Matt Cardona, Indi Hartwell vs. Zayda Steel, The Hardyz vs. The Mane Event, Leon Slater vs. Amazing Red, and so much more. However, this match was the main event of the show, and rightfully so. Mason and DeReiss left it all in the ring in this one, and it truly lived up to the hype that their first match set. Mason has been on the best run of his entire career, and it’s time everyone takes notice and jumps on board with the magic he’s putting on. As for DeReiss, the same can be said about him over in the UK. DeReiss ended Luke Jacobs’ historic reign and won the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship. He’s truly been “on fire.” Seeing these two go to war the way they did was beautiful. It was absolute cinema. Go support both of these incredible wrestlers who are now finally starting to make their way, and check this one out. This one is available on TrillerTV+.
