Limitless Wrestling 10/17/2025 Fresh Blood ’25 Recap & Review

On Friday, October 17th, Limitless Wrestling debuted at Rumors in Biddeford, ME, for it’s event, “Fresh Blood ’25.” The event was posted on the Limitless Wrestling YouTube channel on Tuesday night, October 21st.

The main event of the show saw Donovan Dijak, accompanied by Sidney Bakabella, face off with Aiden Aggro, accompanied by J-Heru. This comes fresh off of Dijak’s stunning actions, siding with Bakabella and Channing Thomas at the end of “Never Enough” in September.

We also saw Lena Kross make her Limitless Wrestling debut as she took on one of the best young women’s talents in the northeast, Shannon LeVangie. Also, Dezmond Cole put his Limitless Wrestling World Championship on the line against Joseph Alexander, Anthony Greene faced off with the new PROGRESS Wrestling ATLAS Champion, Will Kroos, Ryan Clancy squared off with Channing Thomas, and so much more. Check out the full recap and review below.

Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella) def. Ryan Clancy

The show kicked off with Channing Thomas, accompanied by Sidney Bakabella, facing off with Ryan Clancy. This match comes fresh off Clancy’s successful debut last month at “Never Enough.” Clancy won the 10th anniversary scramble match, defeating Jose Zamora, B3, and Madman Fulton. However, Clancy had a very tall task in front of him this time around as he faced off with the former Limitless Wrestling World Champion, Thomas. Thomas is a standard at Limitless and has become a measuring stick for talent across the world, loved or hated by the fans at Limitless.

This had the makings of a dream match for technical wrestling fans all around the world. Clancy has established himself as a technical wizard in the ring, and Thomas can more than hold his own on the mat. The fans were firmly behind Clancy in this one. Despite being fresh in Limitless, Clancy has already established himself as a great face in the company. This had the makings of a great match, but ended in an unfortunate way. Clancy took a nasty landing in the ring, following an Irish whip to Thomas into the ropes, leading to Thomas pinning him to win the match right away. This was another reminder that professional wrestling isn’t ballet and accidents do happen. The good news is Clancy seems to be okay and even had a banger of a match with Marcus Mathers three days later on Wrestling Open, winning the IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship. Great competitors, great match, rough ending. Hopefully, we can watch them do battle again very soon.

Will Kroos def. Anthony Greene

The next match saw a star overseas in the UK, the PROGRESS Wrestling ATLAS Champion, Will Kroos, make a stop at Limitless Wrestling to take on Anthony Greene. This marked a Limitless Wrestling debut for Kroos in his current tour of the United States. I’ve been fortunate enough to follow PROGRESS Wrestling for a while now. For anyone who didn’t know beforehand, this man can go. Kroos is a stud in the ring, and that was on full display as he faced off with another one of Limitless Wrestling’s best, Greene. Greene, similar to Channing Thomas, is a standard at Limitless, and oftentimes he’s matched up against visitors from other promotions, cities, or even countries. If you can hold your own against Greene, you have an incredibly bright future not only in Limitless Wrestling but in the sport of professional wrestling.

It was amazing getting to see Kroos in singles action inside a Limitless Wrestling ring. For someone of his size, the guy does moves that should not be physically possible. Watching Kroos reminds me of watching another young powerhouse some years back, a young version of WALTER. Take notice of this guy now, over in the UK, he’s a star. In the end, Kroos landed a Spanish Fly on Greene and followed it up with his finisher for the three-count. This very well could have been the best match of the night, which is saying something because there were a lot of great matches here. Greene deserves his props, too; he is one of the most reliable talents in Limitless who can make anyone look amazing. That, combined with the skill of Kroos, was a recipe for success.

23 Hazard def. Keagan Garland

I felt bad for anyone who had to follow that banger of a match between Kroos and Greene. However, 23 Hazard and Keagan Garland were more than ready to follow that. 23 Hazard has become one of the most despised men in Limitless Wrestling by their fans, and it’s easy to see why. As a heel, this guy is one of the best at his craft. He has improved a lot from when I first saw him and is really coming into his own. As for Keagan Garland, he is the son of the legendary Scott Garland (aka Scotty 2 Hotty), and he’s looking to carve his own path in the world of professional wrestling. So, was 23 Hazard going to continue his winning ways, or would Garland continue to build on his own path in professional wrestling with wins?

This was a very fun match between two men who could not be further apart on the “Fan Favorite” spectrum. One fun thing that I was on the lookout for in this match was that this was the first time we ever saw Keagan in singles action without his father by his side. As Garland went for a roll, 23 Hazard used his experience over the younger opponent to counter and pin him for the three-count. Garland looked great even in the loss. 23 Hazard is continuing to impress everyone in Limitless Wrestling, and gold may not be too far off in his future.

Limitless World Championship Match: Dezmond Cole (c) def. Joseph Alexander to retain the Limitless World Championship

Up next, we saw arguably one of the biggest matches of the night as Dezmond Cole put his Limitless World Championship on the line against Joseph ‘A-Game’ Alexander. Since it was announced, one week before the event, this may have been the match that I was looking forward to the most. We all know how fantastic Cole is. He’s one of the greatest unsigned talents in the world, and he shows that every time he steps in the ring. Cole enters this match having last defended his Limitless World Championship last month in a three-way match against Aaron Rourke and Channing Thomas. However, one of the most underrated talents on the independent wrestling scene today is Alexander. This was sure to be a good one, and fans were not disappointed.

This was a match full of so many close calls, with each man looking like they had the match won on multiple occasions. Both men threw everything they had and then some at each other. In the end, Cole finally lands a Swanton bomb on Alexander and pins him to retain the Limitless Wrestling World Championship. Alexander looked tremendous in this match, even in defeat. Cole continues to prove his dominance as the top dog in Limitless Wrestling. This was a blast of a match, and I think I speak for everyone when I say Alexander will reach unbelievable heights as a professional wrestler. This match was only a taste of how good he is, and the future is so bright. However, we are in the time of the “BIG BOOFA” Dezmond Cole. Cole is looking like a million bucks lately and has no signs of slowing down or losing that World Championship anytime soon.

Don Freeze def. DJ Powers via disqualification

Next up, we saw DJ Powers go one-on-one with Don Freeze. Powers was accompanied by his partner in The Powers of Influence, Jose Zamora. Freeze had an uphill battle to climb right off the bat. He didn’t just have to compete with Powers, but also with Zamora. Fans wasted little time showing Powers how they felt about him. However, for Freeze, he was greeted with a much more welcome reaction from the Limitless faithful.

Love him or hate him, Powers is a damn good wrestler. Powers has one of the brightest futures out of everyone in the Northeast, and he is very much going to accomplish big things in this world. This was my first time seeing Freeze, too, and he was very fun to watch. Freeze waved to Zamora’s camera while beating down Powers, which annoyed Zamora. So, Zamora charged the ring, and the two men beat down Freeze. Ichiban made the save, and you can guess what happened next.

The Powers Of Influence (DJ Powers & Jose Zamora) def. Don Freeze & Ichiban

So, a tag team match was made official between the two teams. I was very happy about this as I absolutely love watching Zamora wrestle. He is one of the funniest and most talented guys around today. Despite his cocky and brash attitude, he, much like Powers, can back it up in the ring with his skill. As for Ichiban, a lot of the same can be said about him. The only difference is that people actually like Ichiban, and it’s easy to see why. The guy is an underdog in just about every fight he goes into. However, he doesn’t let that stop him and takes the fight to every opponent he has, regardless of their size.

In the end, Powers hits a frogsplash on Freeze for the three-count. I’m extremely happy Powers of Influence got the win here. Taking nothing away from Freeze and Ichiban, as they are great in their own right, but the Powers of Influence could usher in a new brand of tag team wrestling for Limitless, and have all the potential to do just that. Continue to support all four of these men, and jump on the Powers of Influence bandwagon now. The sky is truly the limit for Powers and Zamora. This may have been the best put-together tag team on the independent wrestling scene today. These two complement each other very well, and it’s a blast seeing them do what they do best. Love them or hate them, the Powers of Influence are the future.

Lena Kross def. Shannon LeVangie

In the following match, we saw Lena Kross make her Limitless debut as she took on Shannon LeVangie. Three matches really stood out to me while watching this show. Will Kroos vs. Anthony Greene, Dezmond Cole vs. Joseph Alexander, and this one. Kross is one of the most impressive unsigned free agents around today, and she did battle with one of the best women’s wrestlers on the northeast independent scene, LeVangie. This was truly a match made in heaven, and I couldn’t have booked it better if I tried. Limitless has such a powerful women’s division with a lot of depth. It may be time to implement and create a Limitless Wrestling Women’s Championship. Just something to think about.

This was a bit of a proving ground match for LeVangie. While Kross is one of the best women on the independent wrestling scene today, LeVangie is someone who’s still trying to grow and make a name for herself, coming back from an injury. LeVangie looked very, very good against Kross, and this is a statement match for her even in defeat. In the end, Kross hit her finisher on LeVangie to win the match. This was a very hard-fought victory for Kross. Hopefully, we see Kross back in Limitless Wrestling sooner rather than later. This was a must-watch match for anyone who’s a fan of not only women’s wrestling but professional wrestling as a whole.

Donovan Dijak (w/ Sidney Bakabella) def. Aiden Aggro (w/ J-Heru)

The main event of the show saw Donovan Dijak, accompanied by Sidney Bakabella, go one-on-one with Aiden Aggro, accompanied by J-Heru. This match comes a month after Dijak’s shocking turn, siding with Bakabella and Channing Thomas in the process. As for Aggro, he and J-Heru made up their minds one month ago at “Never Enough,” turning on Thomas in the process, and looking to steal Thomas’s Limitless World Championship shot away from him. Aggro has now put himself back into the good graces of the Limitless faithful, revealing his true colors and leaving the Bakabella Family. As for Dijak, he had a change of heart, “selling out” and joining forces with Bakabella, turning on the fans in the process.

Dijak was greeted with “you sold out” chants from the Limitless faithful. This was a fun match between two of Limitless Wrestling’s biggest stars. Dijak is continuing to prove why he’s a tremendous worker and better than anyone thought if they just watched him on WWE. As for Aggro, he’s one of the most talented wrestlers on the northeast independent scene. Whether he’s a good guy or a bad guy, Aggro was always regarded as one of the best in Limitless, and it’s easy to see why. In the end, all hell breaks loose as Channing Thomas and Anthony Greene make their way down to the ringside area. Aggro takes them out with a big dive to the outside. When Aggro gets back in the ring, he attempts a shining wizard on Dijak, but Dijak moves and lands a “feast your eyes” for the three-count. This was a fun main event to cap off a very good Limitless Wrestling show.
