We have a new Jersey Championship Wrestling World Champion!

At the end of the JCW event, “Possession,” just as Emil Jay was about to sign off, Charles Mason made his way down to the ring and wanted to address the elephant in the room. He said that he was the #1 Contender for the JCW World Championship, and was met by the Bounty Hunter, Bryan Keith.

Keith unveiled the JCW World Championship in the briefcase he was carrying and presented it to Mason. Keith called it a gift from him and the “Fawkescatcher.” As Mason celebrated with the title, Billie Starkz made her way down to the ring and took exception to the events that had just transpired. Starkz is coming off two wins tonight, winning the Luna Vachon Invitational in the process. So, an impromptu match was made.

Mason was the much more fresh of the two competitors, and that was very apparent throughout this match. Keith came out to help Mason win, but Marcus Mathers made the save for Starkz. In the end, Starkz counters Mason’s piledriver and pins him to win the match and win the vacant Jersey Championship Wrestling World Championship.

The title was vacated when JCW stripped Masha Slamovich of the title when domestic abuse allegations against her former partner surfaced. JCW has seemingly parted ways with Slamovich in the process.
