On Sunday evening, Joey Janela took to Twitter to give his opinions on anything wrestling related.

When asked about the Canadian deathmatch scene by Twitter user, Janela replied, “wrestling promotions should be steering away from deathmatches tbh.” Another fan asked him why and Janela elaborated, “Deathmatch wrestling is my favorite type of wrestling, I just think it’s been over done to death the past few years especially if promotions do full deathmatch cards every show.

The two full deathmatch shows a year from GCW that Janela is referring to are the Tournament of Survival and Nick Gage Invitational. The next full deathmatch event from GCW will be NGI X taking place on Saturday December 13th in Orlando, Florida.
