“A-Game” Joseph Alexander has been announced as being part of wXw’s 16 Carat Gold.
Alexander will be part of AMBITION Wildcard 17, which will take place on March 7th in Oberhausen, Germany. This will be a huge opportunity for Alexander, as the wrestling world typically has their eyes on 16 Carat Gold weekend. Some of the best in the world have participated in 16 Carat Gold, including Chris Hero, Bryan Danielson, El Generico aka Sami Zayn, Tommy End aka Aleister Black, Zack Sabre Jr, Walter, Ilja Dragunov, and many more.
Alexander is an incredibly athletic young wrestler who has been working and grinding to get bigger match after bigger match. He had a very up and down 2025, as it brought him some of the biggest matches in his career, but also ended with an injury. This year, he’s taken on former WWE superstars Anthony Greene and Donovan Dijak, and current AEW star Wheeler Yuta. He also went on a seven match winning streak at Wrestling Open and challenged WWEID wrestler Marcus Mathers for the Independent Wrestling Championship.
Recently Alexander did announce that he would be out for the rest of 2025 with a shoulder injury, but it is great to see that when he comes back in 2026, he will continue right where he left off. “Germany, wXw is going to get to BEST version of me, and I can’t wait to show it”, Alexander stated.
