From Friday, November 14th, through Sunday, November 16th, professional wrestling thrived all across the independent wrestling scene, from the states, all the way across the pond. We saw several big shows, which had even bigger matches, featuring some of the very top stars of the independent wrestling scene today. From House of Glory, Chaotic Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, and PROGRESS Wrestling, here are five must-see matches from this past weekend that any fan of professional wrestling should go back and check out on their respective streaming services.

5. Charles Mason vs. Dezmond Xavier from House of Glory’s “SuperClash”

Kicking off the list, we saw Charles Mason put his House of Glory World Championship on the line against Dezmond Xavier at House of Glory’s big event, “SuperClash.” For years, fans knew how good Dezmond Xavier was on the independent wrestling scene. Then, he showcased his talents under a brand new name, Wes Lee, in front of a brand new audience on WWE television. While Xavier was killing it on television, Mason was building himself up in front of the House of Glory audience to the point where he won the House of Glory World Championship, ending Mike Santana’s big reign. Without giving too much away, this match was fantastic. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that it wasn’t the main event, which says more about House of Glory and less about these two competitors. Mason and Xavier could have been a main event anywhere in the world, and should have been the main event at this House of Glory event, but Mercedes Mone had other plans. Xavier hasn’t missed a step since returning to the independent scene, while Mason continues to rule House of Glory. This was a fantastic event that I was fortunate to be at live. Go back and check this one out on TrillerTV+.

4. All Out Tag Team Ladder War from Chaotic Wrestling’s “Breaking Point”

The next match on this list saw The Unit’s JT Dunn & Danny Miles defend their Chaotic Wrestling Tag Team Championships against Miracle Generation’s Dustin Waller & Kylon King, The Monarchy’s King BMT & Prince Jamari, Shannon LeVangie & Armani Kayos, and Powers of Influence’s DJ Powers & Jose Zamora in a five-way All Out Tag Team Ladder War. The match served as the main event of Chaotic Wrestling’s big “Breaking Point” show. This event had become synonymous with the “All Out War” match, where two teams of five competitors do battle. However, this year things looked a bit different, as instead of two teams of five, we saw five teams of two. Nonetheless, everything remained the same in this match, and it remained one of the most chaotic (pun intended) matches that Chaotic Wrestling has in its arsenal. This was just a downright awesome and fantastic match for everyone involved. Without giving much away, I’m extremely happy with the conclusion of this match. Every tag team looked stellar in this one, and it was truly as chaotic as it came. Powers of Influence are one of the hottest up-and-coming tag teams around today, and I am very high on both Powers and Zamora. This was truly a can’t-miss match for any fan of professional wrestling. This 40+ minute match was truly an “all-out war.” Go back and check this one out on the Chaotic Wrestling Twitch and YouTube channel.

3. The Amazing Red vs. Nic Nemeth from House of Glory’s “SuperClash”

Next on this list, we return to the show that was mentioned above, House of Glory’s big event, “SuperClash.” This event saw a ton of great action, including Charles Mason and Dezmond Xavier’s fantastic match. However, one of the best matches I’ve seen live in quite some time actually kicked off the show. We saw The Amazing Red go one-on-one with the man who’s been in the news a lot as of late, Nic Nemeth. Nemeth, formerly WWE’s Dolph Ziggler, has been showing fans exactly how good he is every single time he steps in the ring. He faced off with one of the founders of House of Glory, and one of the New York wrestling scene’s biggest legends, Amazing Red. This match was about as good as you think it would be and then some. It’s impossible for either of these men to have a bad match, and they truly left it all out in the ring in this one. While this could have been another fantastic main event, this was the perfect way to start the show. It set forth the precedent of what we could expect from House of Glory. This started the show on the right foot and left plans clamoring for more. I’m thankful I was able to be there live and truly experience this awesome event. This was the right decision to kick off the show, and it truly did so in amazing fashion. Go back and check this one out on TrillerTV+.

2. Ryan Clancy vs. TJ Crawford from Beyond Wrestling’s “Novembercanrana”

The main event of Beyond Wrestling’s big event, “Novembercanrana,” saw ‘Fancy’ Ryan Clancy put his IWTV Independent Wrestling World Championship on the line against TJ Crawford. This match ruled so hard. This was the first time in Beyond Wrestling’s history that we saw two “Americanrana” events in one year. So, they knew they had to go out with a bang in this one. That was exactly what they did. This show had a few very good matches on it, with the first of two main events seeing Krule team up with Shotzi Blackheart to take on the team of Bear Bronson and Gabby Forza. Clancy entered this match after defeating Marcus Mathers for the title back on October 20th. Since then, Clancy defeated the likes of Sean Legacy and Amira to retain his title. Crawford has been one of the best wrestlers in the entire northeast for quite some time, making Wrestling Open and Beyond Wrestling somewhat of a home for him. Crawford and Clancy are no strangers to each other, and that was very apparent in this one. They had, and continue to have, great chemistry with one another in the ring. This is one I highly recommend that anyone go back and check out. You can do so by going to Beyond Wrestling’s VOD channel on IWTV.

1. Cara Noir vs. Lio Rush from PROGRESS Wrestling’s “Chapter 186: Noisy Neighbours”

Topping off this list, we saw Cara Noir go one-on-one with “Blackheart” Lio Rush in the main event of PROGRESS Wrestling’s big event, “Chapter 186: Noisy Neighbours.” We’ve begun to see a much different, and much more vicious and sadistic side of Cara Noir. In back-to-back months in May and June, Noir came up short as he challenged for the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship against the former champion, Luke Jacobs. He then went on to be defeated by Charlie Sterling and Ricky Knight Jr., before this change of heart we’ve seen from him. He made it quite apparent, he wants the PROGRESS Men’s World Championship, and he’s targeting Man Like DeReiss to get it. Noir finally got back on track in September against Alexander Lockheart and looked to continue his winning ways against Rush. Only issue is that he wouldn’t just be competing with Rush, but he would be competing with Rush’s alter-ego, in a way, the “Blackheart.” This has been such a great transformation for Rush. Rush is very fluid and very good in the ring, and his “Blackheart” character is captivating fans all over, myself included. This match was arguably the best of the whole weekend. I highly recommend going back and checking this one out on TrillerTV+.
