We have a new HOG Women’s Champion!
One of the biggest matches of House of Glory’s show, “Return to the Windy City 2025” saw Indi Hartwell defend her HOG Women’s Championship against Shotzi Blackheart. This match was very evenly matched as both women were cut from similar cloths, and knew each other very well. The match started fast and the fists were raining down from each woman. We even saw them spill over into the crowd.
Hartwell won the vacant title all the way back in May at the Logan Square Auditorium. The title was made vacant by Megan Bayne, who relinquished the title due to her busy schedule with AEW. Fast forward six months later to the same venue, and Hartwell put her 190+ day reign on the line against Blackheart. Blackheart was also fighting with something to prove, and is off to a great start in her return to the independent wrestling scene.
Hartwell picked up wins over the likes of Miyu Yamashita, Hyan, Priscilla Kelly, and, most recently, Zayda Steel last month. Now, the HOG Women’s Championship switches hands, and Shotzi looks to continue the fun run that Hartwell has been on. One thing we know for sure is the HOG Women’s Championship remains in good hands.
