“Ladies Night Out 15” Recap and Review

Ladies Night Out 15 took place as part of WrestleCade Weekend and aired live on the Titlematch Network on November 30. Veda Scott is solo on commentary for the beginning of the show and is then joined by AJ Francis.

Prior to the show, Maya World said that she would not be able to make her match against Deonna Purazzo, so we are going to have to wait a little longer for that dream match.

Alexis Littlefoot vs. Sylvia Sanchez

The hard-hitting Alexis starts out fast until she is met with a side slam from Sanchez. Sanchez tries to keep Alexis down, but Alexis keeps coming back and hits an eat the feet. Sanchez continues to use her power and hits a power slam for the win. This was a good, hard hitting opening match.

PsycHOTics (Amanda Kiss and Leah Night) vs. Magic Dragonz (Cosmic and Jazmyne Hao)

I feel like the PsycHOTics have more experience as a team. They have been frenemies for a while now, whether it is as opponents, as teammates or just as Amanda being obsessed with Leah. Lindsay Snow chases Haley J to the ring and then back to the back. Apparently, they have been fighting each other since last year.

The PsycHOTics dominate until Cosmic gets the tag. The Magic Dragonz get some offense but the double team antics of the PsycHOTics ends up being too much. Amanda hits a moonsault, but Hao answers with a swanton for the win. This was a really fun match, filled with four women who are poised to be stars

Elimination Gauntlet Match: Hyena Hera vs. Audrey Allen vs. Joseline Navarro vs. Sammi Chaos vs. Savannah Evans vs. Freya The Slaya

Joseline eliminates Audrey Allen. Joseline and Hyena try to double team Sammi to no luck. The big hoss girls, Sammi and Savannah face off against each other, then Freya takes out everyone. Freya and Savannah face off and take out everyone around them. Freya and Savannah fight back to the locker room, essentially eliminating themselves from the match. Sammi hits a Vader Bomb on Hera and Joseline to get the win.

Lacey Lane vs. Vipress

Lacey Lane is a former WWE star, while Vipress has wrestled in Mexico and AEW. Very even fast passed match until Vipress takes the fight to the outside. Lacey turns the tables and hits a crossbody onto Vipress, who is seated on a chair. After Lacey had a child chop Vipress, Vipress drops Lacey headfirst on the apron and takes control. She hits a fisherman’s buster, but Lacey kicks out. Lacey hits a rebound destroyer, that looked really cool, but Vipress kicked out of the pin attempt. Lacey gets the win with a DVD in the best match of the show so far.

The Bad Girls Club (Leila Grey and Gema) vs. Manipulation (Vanity and JC Storm)

The Bad Girls Club are reuniting for one match.  Gema and Leila Grey dominated OVW, along with Tiffany Nieves and Dream Girl Ellie as The Bad Girls Club. Since then, Gema has been out with an injury and Leila has been working at AEW.

Gema does not look like she has lost a step, as she is destroying both members of Manipulation. Leila continues the domination until Vanity makes the blind tag. Leila hits an impressive code breaker off the ropes. The Bad Girls Club get the win when Gema forces Vanity to submit. The Bad Girls Club looks like they have not missed a beat and continue to dominate.

Scramble for the ROW Women’s Championship: Haley J (c) vs. Shazza McKenzie vs. Tiffany Nieves vs. Kaitlyn Marie vs. Lindsay Snow

Shazza McKenzie controls the match early, but then it is Tiffany’s time, who hits a tornado DDT on Kaitlyn Marie. Haley J is trying to avoid Snow on the outside, while Kaitlyn takes control of Tiffany on the inside. Zep comes in the ring and starts throwing people into Kaitlyn Marie and Lindsay Snow. Haley brings in her sock of rocks and starts knocking people out. Haley gets the win by pining Shazza after hitting her with the sock of rocks. She then grabs her title and runs to the back with Lindsey and Zep chasing her.

Tess Warren vs. Kenzie Paige

Kenzie Paige has a big experience advantage, but Tess Warren has been traveling and trying to improve in her young career. Tess is keeping a fast pace and trying to keep Kenzie guessing. Tess does get some offense in, but Kenzie hits a cutter for the win.

Nikki Blackheart vs. Madi Maxx vs. J-Rod

Madi Maxx came from the southern indie scene, but has mostly been wrestling for WOW recently. J-Rod was a dominant OVW Women’s Champion and current American Gladiator. Nikki Blackheart is one of the fastest rising stars in the south. Nikki and J-Rod are using their power, while Madi is trying to use her intelligence to pick her spots. Unfortunately for Madi she ran into the arms of Blackheart and got met with a sit down power bomb and Nikki picks up the win. Nikki has the presence and power to really become a star.

Izzy Moreno vs. Airica Demia vs. Brittnie Brooks vs. Emily Jaye

Brittnie Brooks is unusually in all black and is felling the evil vibes from them. All of these young women are quick and athletic, so it is very hard for anyone to even get a two count. Emily had Airica locked in figure four and Brittnie got rid of Izzy and covered Emily to get the pin. This was a fun match and all of these women keep getting better every time I see them.

LNO Championship: Jazmin Allure (c) vs. Xia Brookside

Jazmin starts the match by yelling at children in the crowd and taking shortcuts in the ring. Xia is one of the best when she is the babyface sweetheart. She is incredibly athletic and so easy to root for. Jazmin brings in the title and pushes Xia into the ref, she then hits Xia with the belt for the win.

Jazmin Allure joins commentary

Match to determine number 1 contender for LNO Championship: Angelica Risk vs. Robyn Renegade vs. Janai Kai vs. La Rosa Negra

All four of these women bring unique offense and athleticism to the match. Jazmine comes from the announce table and knocked La Rosa off the ropes and she got met with a knee from Janai. However, La Rosa was able to recover and hit Renegade with a impressive frog splash for the win. This did not sit well with Jazmine, as she hit La Rosa with the title after the match.

Ava Brooks vs. Ruthie Jay vs. Mila Johnson vs. Jada Stone vs. Clara Carter

This is a very interesting mix, as we have some indie vets, NWA talent, and TNA talent. Ava Brooks may be the least experienced in this match, but she does not lack confidence. Jada Stone starts the match off with a bang as she comes off the top onto all of her opponents on the outside. Really impressive sequence from Ruthie and Jada. Jada gets the win with a split legged moonsault

Kylie Paige vs. Deonna Purrazo

A first time singles match between two of the top wrestlers in America. Deonna is proving that she is the true vet, staying one step ahead of Kylie. Deonna focuses on Kylie’s arm, as it had previously been injured. Kylie puts up a good fight, but Deonna gets the win with a vicious piledriver.

Last Woman Standing: Priscilla Kelly vs. Shotzi Blackheart

These two have fought each other all over the indies and have tired to make each match unique. Shotzi brought the green staple and Shotzi is collecting money from the fans and AJ Francis to staple to Priscilla Kelly.

I don’t think I can type a couple things that Priscilla did, but we will just say that they looked painful and not PG. Shotzi gives Priscilla a suplex into a door and Priscilla is not able to answer the 10 count. They were a little limited by what they could do by it being a family show, but they did have a very good hardcore match and pushed the limits a little bit.

This was a fun show. A lot of the matches were pretty short, but they wanted to get a lot of young women’s wrestlers in front of some new eyes. My favorite matches on the show were Lacey Lane against Vipress and the scramble for the ROW Women’s title.
