On Sunday, December 28th, PROGRESS Wrestling returned to the Electric Ballroom in London for it’s event, “Chapter 188: Unboxing VIII- In Search of Socks.” This event marked the PROGRESS Wrestling “Unboxing” show, which means there was no card announced, no spoilers gotten out, and no clues were given. Everything on the show was a surprise. The event streamed live on TrillerTV+.
The main event saw Rayne Leverkusen put her PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s World Championship on the line against Kanji.
We also saw Man Like DeReiss put his PROGRESS Wrestling Men’s World Championship on the line against the Bullet Club’s Robbie X, Simon Miller team up with Drew Parker & Sunshine Machine to face off with Josh Holly, Scott Oberman, & Lykos Gym, Gene Munny team up with Kouga to face the returning Trew & Lacey, Bullit go one-on-one with Charles Crowley, and Alexxis Falcon face off with Harley Hudson, Lana Austin, Maddy Morgan, Rhio, & Hollie Barlow in a scramble match to kick off the all-surprise event.
