
On Friday, January 9th, Freelance Wrestling returned to the Logan Square Auditorium in Chicago, IL, for it’s event, “27 Days Later.” The event marked Freelance’s first big event of 2026 and was streamed live on IWTV.
The main event saw Devon Monroe put his Freelance Wrestling World Championship on the line against EFFY.
We also saw Bang & Matthews put their Freelance Wrestling Tag Team Championships and IWTV Independent Wrestling Tag Team Championships on the line against Starstruck. Also, Trevor Outlaw went one-on-one with Matt Brannigan, Shazza McKenzie faced off with Trent Wrigley, Chico Suave defended his Freelance Legacy Championship against Jimmy Jacobs, Alfonso Gonzalez squared off with Darin Corbin, Darius Latrell met Sean Login in singles action, and a six-man scramble match to open the show.
