MJF has taken to social media ahead of his match against Alec Price at tonight’s Limitless Wrestling event.
“In this sport you can be great, but ya can’t be MJF.”
MJF will be defending the AEW World Championship after a successful defense this past Wednesday on Dynamite against Bandido. This will be the first time the AEW World Championship will be defended at an independent wrestling event.
MJF tweeted, “Not since Ric Flair has the world champion defended his title on the territory’s/independent’s. I’m not saying I’m Flair. I’m saying I’m Friedman. And that makes me BETTER!”
Limitless Wrestling will present ‘The 2026 Limitless Rumble’ tonight, Friday January 16th from The Colisee. The event will live stream on IWTV and YouTube. It will be MJF’s first time competing inside a Limitless Wrestling ring since 2019.
