
Japanese deathmatch legend Masashi Takeda is celebrating 19 years as a professional wrestler. Takeda posted on Twitter, commemorating the milestone.
“Today marks exactly 19 full years of my pro wrestling career. Even with mv clumsy skills, I’ve kept charging forward in this wrestler’s life for 19 years. As long as my body keeps moving, I want to remain a deathmatch fighter. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and backed me day after day. I will never forget this feeling of gratitude. and in my 20th year I will keep pushing forward clumsily, bleeding as always. I will keep training hard toward next year’s 20th anniversary.”
In his 19 year career, Takeda has held numerous championships across a number of different promotions, including the BJW Death Match Heavyweight Championship, GCW Ultraviolent Championship, ICW American Deathmatch Championship, King Of FREEDOM World Championship (3x), and others.
