Alexxis Falcon Wins the PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s World Championship

We have a new PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s World Champion!

The main event of PROGRESS Wrestling’s first show of 2026 saw Rayne Leverkusen put her PROGRESS Wrestling Women’s World Championship on the line against Alexxis Falcon. The two women went to war in the final match of the night for the top prize in the PROGRESS Wrestling women’s division. In the end, Falcon would put Leverkusen away and become the Women’s World Champion for the first time in her career.

Leverkusen won the PROGRESS Women’s World Championship back from Rhio in October of last year. Since then, Leverkusen has been a fighting champion, defeating the likes of Session Moth Martina, Emersyn Jayne, and Kanji in her 91 days as champion.

As for Falcon, she has picked up recent victories at PROGRESS over the likes of Harley Hudson, Hollie Barlow, Lana Austin, Maddy Morgan, and Rhio in a six-way scramble back in December, and in singles contests with Miyu Yamashita, Lana Austin, and Hollie Barlow previously in 2025.

The PROGRESS Wrestling women’s division remains in good hands as Falcon takes over the throne.
