Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment (AWE) will present ROAR on March 15, a landmark event marking the debut of the promotion’s women’s division as a standalone showcase.
Headlining the event is a highly anticipated tag team match featuring Shotzi Blackheart and Priscilla Kelly against Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize. The bout brings together four prominent names from the independent wrestling scene and former national promotions, making it one of the most notable matchups in AWE’s history.
This will be the first time all four competitors have shared the ring, as well as the first time Blackheart and Kelly have teamed together since concluding a well-documented rivalry that spanned multiple independent promotions, including GCW, MLW, AWF, HOG, and Last Woman Standing 15. Their feud, which unfolded over several months, became one of the defining rivalries of the independent women’s wrestling circuit following both competitors’ returns to the scene.
ROAR also marks the first reunion of Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize since the duo departed AEW in October 2025, reuniting a tag team that previously established itself as a dominant force.
With ROAR, AWE aims to spotlight women’s wrestling at the independent level, and the announcement of this marquee matchup signals the promotion’s intent to make an immediate impact. Additional matches are expected to be announced, but the event has already positioned itself as a must-see showcase for fans of women’s wrestling.
