This past Friday at Prestige Wrestling’s final event ever, Roseland XIII, Kevin Blackwood and Judas Icarus went to war for nearly 33 minutes in the main event for the Prestige Wrestling World Championship. Judas Icarus would come out the victor in what was not only the final match in the history of Prestige Wrestling, but Kevin Blackwood’s final professional wrestling match ever. The victory would not only make Icarus a two-time Prestige World Champion, but the final Prestige Champion ever.
The following day, Blackwood paid his respects to his opponent from the night before, stating that Judas Icarus is one of the best wrestlers in the entire world.
“I don’t want my thing to take away from Judas’ win last night. I told him before the bell rang we owed each other and the fans the best match possible and he was the one I knew could do that. He’s one of the best in the entire world. Deserved final Prestige Champion.”
