
Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw) announced Mercedes Martinez as the first participant in Femmes Fatales at the wXw Pro-Wrestling Grand Prix 2026.
On January 1st of this year Mercedes Martinez, a 25-year veteran of the game, put everyone on notice that 2026 would be her last year as a full-time professional wrestling. With that announcement she officially began her retirement tour.
Martinez is one of the most respected competitors on the wrestling scene today, she has worked numerous promotions worldwide.Throughout her career she has captured multiple championships and competed in several high profile tournaments, including making it to the semifinal in the 2017 WWE Mae Young Classic.
Her participation in the Femmes Fatales tournament adds a notable chapter to her farewell year, as Martinez looks to make one more impact on the international wrestling scene before officially retiring.
