Ahura is the 2026 16 Carat Gold tournament winner!
2025 König Der Catcher tournament winner Ahura has also won the prestigious 16 Carat Gold tournament trophy.
Ahura has won wXw’s biggest tournament of the year in one of independent wrestling’s biggest weekends. Ahura started his weekend on March 6 for Night 1 where he defeated Dennis Dullnig in the opening round. On Night 2 of the tournament he defeated Japanese legend Tetsuya Naito in the quarter finals. Then, today on Night 3, he eliminated Thomas Shire from the tournament, before his victory in the finals against Peter Tihanyi.
All three nights of the tournament, as well as wXw’s other events this past weekend (Independent Wrestling Summit and AMBITION 17) can be streamed on IWTV or TrillerTV+.
